| 摘要 | PURPOSE: To efficiently produce a helical spring composing of plural helical strand spring wires joined together at one end of plural strands by synchronizing advancing, coiling, cutting processes to a welding process. CONSTITUTION: A wire extending from a supply devices 17, 18 passes a hole of a guide member 14 of a supply device 15 and is supplied at a straight and continuous state toward a coiling mandrel, i.e., a spindle 11. By energizing a pair of welding electrodes 19, wire W1, W2 parts are welded together. A tip part of the wire passes between a stop pin 13 and a neck part 11a reducing the spindle 11. Until a planned number of coils is formed while the spindle 11 is retracted in an axial direction, the wire is coiled on the neck part 11a reducing the spindle 11. When rotation of the spindle 11 is stopped, the spindle is instantly reversed, a cutting blade 16 shears the wire W1, W2, a formed helical spring is automatically released from the neck part 11a reducing the mandrel 11. | ||||||
