摘要	PURPOSE:To obtain a tape-like barbed wire which is lightweight, has sharp barbs and is highly economical by welding an iron wire for increasing tensile strength and yield to a metallic tape in a way as to avert the notches formed to the tape and pulling longitudinally the tape. CONSTITUTION:Plural notches 6 are formed at equal intervals to a metallic tape 7 as shown in the figure and thereafter an iron wire 8 for increasing tensile strength and yield is welded to the tape in a way as to avert the notches 6. A pulling part 1 is then pulled in an arrow direction, by which sharp angled iron plate parts 2, 3, 4, 5 are successively three-dimensionally raised and an intended tape-like barbed wire having sharp barbs is obtd. Such barbed wire has the above-described characteristics and besides, the barbed wire is less bulky when wound on a drum, and the barbs are substantially sharp. The density degree and angle of the barbs are adjustable by changing the pulling force according to the purposes of use.
