摘要	PURPOSE:To provide a bender which automates a series of stages and to makes mass production of bent wires having uniform quality in bending of a metallic wire by combining mechanisms for conveying the wire to a bending base, positioning, pressing, roll bending under heating, taking out, etc. in bending the wire. CONSTITUTION:A wire 4 for a filament cut preliminarily to a specified length is conveyed by a vibrator feeder 11 and a rectilinear feeder 12, is placed on a bending base 14 by a loader 13 and is placed in the position where the wire contacts with a stopper 151. A pressing plate 161 of a pressing mechanism 16 is turned to press the wire 4 by a leaf spring 162. The wire 4 heated by a heater 142 is bent by a bending mechanism 17 when the bending means 171 of said mechanism turns. The bent part is pressed by a finishing hammer 18 and is formed into a prescribed bent shape. As the plate 161 turns, the bent wire is dropped and housed into a container. All these mechanisms are electrically controlled as a series of automate stages. The mass production of the bent wires having uniform quality is thus made possible.
