A face/headrest attachment for lounge chairs having an annular cushion forming a hole through the back of the chair, where a person's head would typically rest. A two-piece plastic ring that is held together by fasteners such as screws and adhesive frames the hole through the back of the chair. The backing of the chair material is placed between the rings to allow for the continuing support of the remainder of the chair's surface. |

An adjustable cot for supporting a pregnant woman, in which an elongate frame (14) includes leg members (24) to support the frame spaced-apart from a surface. A fabric sheet (16) attaches to the frame (12). A central portion of the fabric sheet defines a receiving recess (12) extending in a first direction from a plane defined by the frame. The receiving recess (12) adjusts from a first depth to a second depth by drawcards (34) in channels 32 in the receiving recess. The volume of the receiving recess is selectively changed to accommodate a protruding portion of a pregnant woman lying on the fabric sheet. |

A beach chair has a frame, a plurality of leg assemblies, a main frame cover, an auxiliary cover, fasteners for the main frame cover and the auxiliary cover, and two openings within the main frame cover (one for receiving a person's face, the other for receiving a person's abdomen). The frame includes an upper rectangular shaped support main frame having each corner connected to a leg assembly. In use, the beach chair is unfold by pivoting the legs downward from the main frame into locking positions. The main frame cover is also divided into three unseparated sections which equally conform to the three sections of the main frame. |

A tensioned bed which comprises first and second parallel support rods which can be mounted to a fixed support structure. A flexible rectangular sheet of limited stretchability has a spreader rod attached to one end of the sheet, with the end wrapped about one of the support rods such that the spreader bar extends parallel to the rod. The opposed sheet ends has a hem which receives the other support rod, a pair straps are attached to the spreader bar and extend along and are attached to the sheet sides. The free ends of the straps are engaged by buckles attached to the sheet proximate the hemmed edge. |

656,962. Beds ; mattresses. HERZOG, E. Jan. 18, 1949, Nos. 1390 and 1391. Convention dates, Jan. 18, 1948 and April 14, 1948. [Classes 52 (ii) and 52 (iv)] In a bed such as a camp-bed of the kind comprising longitudinal tubular members, transverse supporting members and a stretched fabric sleeping surface heat insulating means are arranged below the sleeping surface in such a manner as to avoid pressure due to the sleeper being transferred to the heat insulating means. The heat insulating means may comprise air spaces 4, 15 with or without a stuffed cushion 13, the fabric bounding the insulating such as 5, 5a, 14 being secured either permanently or detachably to the margins 2b, either directly or indirectly, of the sleeping surface fabric 2. In a modification the lowest layer 9 of the heat insulation may be metallized to reflect the heat generated by the sleeper's body and a gap provided with holes 10, 11 and covered by a strip 8 may be left unmetallized to permit access of air. The supports 3 for the bed may be telescopic to adjust the tension of the sleeping surface and may be furnished with spring snap means adapted to engage a selected pair of a number of pairs of holes 16. An additional fixing means comprises a nut 27 adapted to clamp the slit end of one of the tubes on to the other tube. |
