Am oberen Ende des oberen Rohres (8) ist ein Schwenklager (11) mit einem Schlitz (12) zur Aufnahme eines Traggestells (13) für den gepolsterten Kopfteil (14) vorgesehen, wobei der gepolsterte Kopfteil eine ovale Aussparung (18) zur Aufnahme des Gesichtsteiles des Kopfes aufweist. Die Kopfauflage in Form eines Beistellmöbeis zu Liegen für die Untersuchung und Behandlung von Patienten in Baulage ergänzt die konventionellen einfachen Liegen und macht sie dadurch für die genannte Behandlung und Untersuchung geeignet.
