Die Erfindung betrifft eine Gartenbank mit zwei das Sitzteil und die Rückenlehne tragenden Bankfüßen, wobei das Sitzteil und die Rückenlehne aus einer Belattung gebildet sind. Bei der erfindungsgemäßen Gartenbank sind die die Belattung bildenden Latten 3,6 nicht direkt zur Bildung des Sitzteils 4 und der Rückenlehne 7 an den Bankfüßen 1 befestigt, sondern an einem Lattenträger 2 mittels geeigneter Verbingungsteile festgelegt. In vorteilhafter Weise hinsichtlich der Herstellung, Lagerung und Montage können nunmehr für alle Arten der Belattung gleiche Bankfüße 1 verwendet werden, da ausschließlich der Lattenträger 2 entsprechend der Größe und der Anzahl der Latten 3,6 auszulegen ist. Zum Verkauf werden die Rückenlehne 7 und das Sitzteil 4 vormontiert und zusammen mit den Bankfüßen 2 im demontierten Zustand angeboten. Die Endmontage ist in denkbar einfacher Weise möglich, da der Lattenträger 2 an der Unterseite eine U-förmige, sich über die gesamte Länge erstreckende Aufnahme 11 aufweist, die im montierten Zustand einen nach oben stehenden Steg 12 des Bankfußes 2 übergreift. Die vormontierte Rückenlehne 7 bzw. das Sitzteil 4 braucht lediglich auf den Steg 12 des Bankfußes 2 aufgesteckt und mittels einer Schraube gesichert werden. |
