101 LIFTING COLUMN, PREFERABLY FOR HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE TABLES PCT/DK2012000129 2012-12-05 WO2013083128A2 2013-06-13 RIIS MARTIN; RASMUSSEN ULRIK NYTOFT
Lifting column preferably for height adjustable tables comprising a guide (5) and a drive unit (9) where the guide (5) comprises at least a first member (5a) and a second member (5b), where the members (5a, 5b, 5c) are arranged mutually telescopically relative to each other. At the end of the first member (5a) which the second member (5b) can be displaced from sliders are arranged on an internal side thereof. At the end of the second member (5b) extending into the first member (5a) sliders are likewise arranged on the outside thereof. In a first plane the sliders have a first, a large, prestressing between the first member (5a) and the second member (5b), while the sliders in the second plane has a second, a small, prestressing between the first (5a) and second member (5b). Thus, a good dampening of vibrations of the table is achieved in case of exposure to horizontal forces.

104 A LIFTING COLUMN, PREFERABLY FOR HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE TABLES AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THEREOF PCT/DK0200809 2002-12-02 WO03047389A9 2004-05-21 KLINKE NORBERT
In lifting columns (1) for tables and similar articles of furniture and consisting of pipe profiles (2a, 2b) with intermediate slides (8), it is a problem that the profiles (2a, 2b) have relatively great dimensional tolerances. This means that the gap between two successive sections may vary relatively much, which causes a great play in the column. This is solved in that at least one of these sections (2a) at one of the slides (8) is formed with a local deformation of the wall inwards toward the slide to press the slide inwards against the following section (2b). The dimensional tolerances may be neutralized by suitable arrangement and selection of deformations as well as the force with which the deformation is made.

106 IMPROVED STUDENT DESK WITH BOOK BOX PCT/US2007024139 2007-11-19 WO2008066723A2 2008-06-05 WESTBROOK MACK DANIEL; LAFLEUR MATTHEW MURPHY; COX LEWIS DORSEY; STOUT JEFFREY
The present invention is related to a desk structure. The desk structure comprises a writing surface, and a book box which is secured to the writing surface. A plurality of receiver sleeves are integrally molded with the book box. Each receiver sleeve has an outer wall and an inner wall. The inner wall of the receiver sleeve has a slot and a plurality of radially spaced ribs. The inner wall defines an opening. The desk structure further comprises a plurality of legs. Each leg has an upper leg portion. The upper leg portion of each leg is received by the inner wall opening of a corresponding receiver sleeve. Additionally, each upper leg portion includes a detent. The detent is adapted to engage a corresponding inner wall slot when the upper leg portion is received by the inner wall opening of the corresponding receiver sleeve. Thus, the detent both secures the leg to the book box and positions the upper leg portion within the opening.
