142 CONVEYOR BELT SCRAPING DEVICE PCT/EP2015001251 2015-06-22 WO2016023604A9 2016-08-18 SCHULTE STRATHAUS MICHAEL
The invention relates to a conveyor belt scraping device for a conveyor belt (1) of a conveyor belt system, comprising a support shaft (4) and at least one scraping segment (5) arranged on the support shaft (4). The scraping segment (5) has a holding end (6) which is connected to the support shaft (4) in a formfitting manner so as to transfer a torque and a scraping end (7) which is located opposite the holding end (6). The conveyor belt scraping device also comprises at least one holding support (11) which is arranged on a stationary mounting (10) and in which the support shaft (4) is rotatably mounted, at least one drive element (12) of a stationary drive motor (13), said drive element being coupled to the support shaft (4), preferably to an end of the support shaft (4), so as to transfer a torque, and a controller (14) for the drive motor (13). The scraping end (7) of the scraping segment (5) can be made to contact the conveyor belt (1) or can be released from the conveyor belt (1) by means of a corresponding actuation of the drive motor (13) and a movement of the drive element (12). The invention is characterized in that a manual coupling (15) is arranged between the drive element (12) of the drive motor (13) and the support shaft (4), and a relative rotational position of the support shaft (4) and the drive element (12) can be manually adjusted relative to each other and fixed in the respective set position by means of the manual coupling.
143 CLEAN CONVEYOR SENSING SYSTEM PCT/IB2011050328 2011-01-25 WO2011092629A2 2011-08-04 KRAUS PAUL R; SEEMEYER STEFAN
A conveyor maintenance system and method determines when a conveyor requires cleaning by determining when the conveyor is soiled beyond a predetermined threshold level. The system comprises a detector that collects optical data indicative of the amount of soil on a conveyor, a memory that stores reference data indicative of a clean conveyor, and a controller that compares the optical data indicative of the amount of soil on the conveyor to the reference data and determines whether the conveyor requires cleaning based on the comparison.
144 BOLT DIVERSION SYSTEM PCT/US2006030695 2006-08-07 WO2007021634A2 2007-02-22 ST JOHN BARRY
A bolt diversion system for use with a conveyor system having a conveyor chain for towing a movable cart. The bolt diversion system is used to prevent debris from interfering with operation of the conveyor chain. The bolt diversion system includes first and second rails, disposed vertically and spaced from one another so as to define a slot therebetween. Lower faces of the rails are disposed close to and in overlapping relationship to upper lateral edges of the chain so as to define a small gap between the first and second rails and the conveyor chain that is smaller than the debris, so that the debris remains in the slot and on top of the conveyor chain. The debris is conveyed by the conveyor chain to a debris removal zone in which a wiper arm assembly is provided. The wiper arm assembly includes a wiper arm that extends across a top of the conveyor chain. The wiper arm knocks debris off of the conveyor chain and into a debris collection container.
