27 EGG CONVEYOR EP87903542.6 1986-12-08 EP0282592A1 1988-09-21 NAKAJIMA, Hideo; YAMAMOTO, Minoru

Egg conveyor for collecting and conveying eggs, transferred from cages, without breaking them. In the present invention, an egg collecting rack is suspended from an endless belt in such a manner as to be rocking freely and a receiving portion of the egg collecting rack receives the eggs on a su- port portion while a discharge portion discharges them. To this end, each of the receiving portion, support portion and discharge portion of the egg collecting rack has a comb-like shape. Since the egg collecting rack can rock freely, the egg collecting rack can transfer the eggs horizontally so that the eggs are not broken and cracks do not occur, either. A scraper member is disposed in order to easily send the eggs to an egg collecting table at the discharge position of the egg collecting rack. Furthermore, a stopper mechanism operates so as to stop the operation of the endless belt if any foreign matters exist at the discharged position and the egg cannot be discharged from the egg collecting rack.

A discharge conveyor for an elongated truck or trailer body which includes a plurality of relatively long conveyor belt sections having leadings ends which are bolted to support members which extend between a pair of spaced-apart chains. Each of the conveyor belt sections are secured to a plurality of the support members in such a manner so as to provide a freely movable flap at the trailing end thereof. When the conveyor is moving through its discharge section, the trailing end of the conveyor belts overlap the leading end of the trailing conveyor belt section. When the conveyor is moving through its return section, the flaps of the conveyor belt sections hang downwardly from the chains.
38 Lumber sort apparatus US10422730 2003-04-25 US20030230519A1 2003-12-18 Mike Cesselli
Discloses apparatus for sorting board lumber at a sawmill. The lumber sorter has a sort conveyor with equidistantly spaced hooks pivotably attached around the length of the conveyor. The hooks have an arcuate support arm and pivot to receive and to release lumber onto and off of the sort conveyor. The support surface of the hook is arranged to increase in distance from the pivot point when the hook is deflected to release the board lumber that it carries, facilitating lumber release with minimal consequential movement or rotation of the lumber caused by the release deflection of the hook.

40 Conveyor safety tray US624831 1996-03-21 US5718322A 1998-02-17 Francis M. Mulhern
The forks of a conveyor tray are hingedly mounted between two end forks rdly interconnected by a cross-bar and through which electrically powered drive chains impart movement to the tray along a vertical conveyor path. The hingedly mounted tray forks are releasably held in normal load-supporting positions on the cross-bar in alignment with the two end forks, so that they may be pivotally displaced upwardly from such positions by travel resistance forces in excess of a safety level.
