1 Apparatus for treating gaseous and nongaseous matter US73376658 1958-05-07 US3087255A 1963-04-30 MORROW JOSEPH H
919,030. Pneumatic conveyers. FULLER CO. April 9, 1959 [May 7, 1958], No. 35112/60. Divided out of 919,028. Class 78 (1). Distributing apparatus for powdered &c. material comprises a fluidizing casing 49, Fig. 3, into which material is fed through an inlet 52 and discharged through a series of outlets 55 having overflow edges 57. The material is fluidized by air admitted to a plenum chamber 51 below a porous deck 50, the air being vented through an outlet 54. The edges 57 may be at different heights and the outlet 55 of different areas according to the required distribution of the material.
2 Chute and Sorting Installation, and Method for Sorting Articles US15596631 2017-05-16 US20170334647A1 2017-11-23 Bernd Hartmann; Wolfram Grafe
The invention relates to a chute for articles, in particular packages and/or consignments, having a chute base for the article to slide down, having at least one storage installation, preferably assigned to the lower end of the chute, for the articles that have slid down along the chute base, wherein the storage installation is configured to be adjustable, in particular pivotable, from an upper receiving position for receiving the articles sliding down the chute into a lower discharging position for discharging the received articles, and back again.
3 Picking implement US331145 1981-12-16 US4456113A 1984-06-26 Alphee Thibault
An implement to be used by a fruit picker person to gently deposit the fruits in a box, directly from climbed positions near the box, irrespective of the level of fruits in the box, with easy and readily removal from among the fruits when the box has been filled, and with readily disconnectable components for convenient assembly and dessassembly in the orchard. This fruit picking implement comprises a support fitting onto a conventional orchard box, a frame removably mountable on the support, a hanger bracket removably connecting to the frame, fruit braking shelves pivotally attached to the hanger bracket, and a flexible tube having one end hooking to the belt of one fruit picker person and having another end entering into a whirling eductor overlying the uppermost shelf to gently drop fruits successively onto that uppermost shelf and dropping of the fruits serially through the vertically spaced apart shelves.
4 Fall brake US821915 1977-08-04 US4161243A 1979-07-17 Marius Grisnich
A fall brake for material in which a plurality of frames are suspended one beneath the other, each frame holding a material guide. The frames are pivotally interconnected in staggered positions and the lowermost frame is suspended to a lifting mechanism through a flexible member. In order to prevent the risk of damage in the case of shocks and to provide a small height of the fall brake in the lifted position, the lowermost frame can be upwardly pivoted from its operative position into an inoperative position, in which the frame is mainly parallel to the overlying frame, each frame having suspended to it a material guide being at an angle to said frame.

6 Supply equipment for fruit or the like JP1213085 1985-01-25 JPS61174010A 1986-08-05 UCHIDA ICHIGEN
PURPOSE:To make it possible to exactly operate a supply equipment in which a bellowslike chute is raised by stages as a storage in a container increases by constructing the equipment such that the chute is raised by the weight of the storage and a shutter is closed upon the completion of operation. CONSTITUTION:Fruit or the like is thrown into a hopper 9 from a supply stand through a conveyer. At this time, a framework 17 extends to its lowermost position in the container 38 on a balance 39 and the fruit slowly moves to the bottom in a zigzag direction through respective falling bags 19 to be stored in the container 38. When the weight of the storage reaches a given value, a switch in the balance 39 is closed to energize a motor 23, which operates a winch 22 to wind up a wire 20, rising the framework 17 for a given time. When a further given value of the weight is reached, similarly the framework 17 that has been stopped is raised again for a given time. These operations are repeated. After the storage is completed, a shutter 11 is closed to prevent an excessive loading. Thus, an exact operation is secured.
