4 Storage cassette for large panel glass substrates US11187460 2005-07-22 US20070020067A1 2007-01-25 Chi-Feng Lin; Meng-Hsueh Hsieh
In a cassette having racks for storing glass substrates, rollers are used to support a glass substrate in a rack and to move the glass substrate into and out of the cassette. Two rows of interlocking gears are used to rotate the rollers in the same direction. A transfer platform having a plurality of rollers and two rows of interlocking gears is used as a conveyor to deliver or retrieve a glass substrate to or from the cassette after the gears on the transfer platform are also engaged with the gears on a cassette stage. Alternatively, the rollers on the cassette racks and on the transfer platform are driven by inter-linking belts or chains. In a different embodiment, rollers are driven by magnetic coupling devices mechanically linking the transfer platform and the rack through magnetic coupling.

6 Frame for housing article JP3656393 1993-02-25 JPH06297062A 1994-10-25 HAINTSU SHIERAA
PURPOSE: To obtain a frame which is capable of automatically housing an article in an upright position without the need of being aligned by tilting a lever mechanism to a holding position and making locking members catch an object article and serve as a surface in contact with a subsequent article. CONSTITUTION: When the article 6 is placed on tilting pieces 3, the tilting pieces 3 are rotated with respect to the centers 4 of the rotation, catch the lower locking members 9 via driving pieces 7 and the lower locking members 9 are raised in the upward direction. The lower locking members 9 are connected to the other locking members 13 via connecting rods 14 in the vicinity of connecting points 10. Separately, connection is carried out via two connecting points 15, 16. When the locking members 9 move upward, the direct-connecting rods 14 are thrusted upward, the locking members 18 are displaced to the holding position and the article 6 is held by the 4 tilting pieces.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cassette that has multiple racks for storing substrates and can retrieve the substrate in a rack by using a conveyor. SOLUTION: Each cassette rack 30 is used to move a substrate into or out of a cassette 10 by means of multiple rollers. Two rows of interlocking gears are used to rotate the rollers at the same rate and in the same direction. The rollers are also used as supporters of a mechanism that supports the substrate in each rack 30. A transfer platform 80 comprises multiple rollers and two rows of interlocking gears, and is used as a conveyor. After the gears on each cassette rack 30 and the gears on the transfer platform 80 are engaged with the gears on a cassette stage, the transfer platform 80 delivers or retrieves a substrate. 12 Storing jig JP24592284 1984-11-22 JPS61124407A 1986-06-12 MATSUOKA MASAHARU
PURPOSE:To easily transfer storage positions by forming rugged sections more than the number of holding sections on end faces of the inlet/outlet of a main body having multiple holding sections so that the end faces of the main body are engaged with each other in storing jigs of plate-like materials such as wafers. CONSTITUTION:When wafers 1 stored in an actual storing jig 2A are to be transferred to the same positions in a vacant storing jig 2B, both jigs 2A, 2B are located symmetrically and coupled together in a bean-jam-filled wafer style. Thereby, holding grooves 5 of both jigs 2A, 2B are all coincided. Next, under the coupled condition, the jig 2A is gradually made to face downward, and wafers 1 in the jig 2A are slided into holding grooves 5 of the jig 2B. When the transfer positions are to be changed, the coupling positions of both jigs 2A, 2B are displaced. According to this constitution, the transfer is made easy.
