CONSTITUTION:A truck 16 where a pallet 40 is placed is travelled in an unmanned-state along a running path 15 and stopped at the side of a traverser 13. The pallet 40 is transferred from the truck 16 onto a roller conveyer of the traverser 13. The emptied truck 16 is moved to the next process. The traverser 13 is adapted to support the pallet 40 and travelled along a fixed path 14 up to a reverser 50, so that the pallet 40 is transferred onto the reverser 50 and fixed there. A washer 12 is confronted with the reverser 50, and the pallet 40 is reversed and supported in the projecting manner into the washing chamber 12 by the reverser 50 to be washed. After washing, the pallet is restored to its initial position and delivered to a warehousing conveyer 7 by the traverser 13. In this arrangement, the truck runs on without stop to reduce the number of trucks.

Said rotation causes rotation of guide members 10, 10', and 11 located to the upper ends of the rotary shafts 20, 21, and 21' in a manner that rotation centers are positioned eccentrically to each other, and this sets the guide which is well suited to place the pallet 1 for conveyance on the center of the pallet 3 for warehouse. Thereafter, the pallet 1 is placed on the pallet 3 for warehouse by means of a fork lift. In which case, even if the pallet 1 for conveyance is placed in a manner that it is displaced in either a longitudinal or a lateral direction, the action of the guide members 10, 10', and 11 causes the pallet 1 to slip on a slope in the direction of a center, resulting in elimination of the occurrence of displacement.
