The horizontal hooks and the handle are connected as one unit via a vertical bar(22) at the center. The milk carton holder is produced by plastic extrusion. The holder has a double handle separated by a handle spacer. Without using tapes to bind milk cartons together, the milk cartons are recycled in perfect state.

A clip is preferably provided on the head for selectively retaining a section of the paper-cord that has been inserted through the elongated channel.
