Hierzu ist die Dachstange (3') angrenzend an den Rand des Schirmdaches 1 an einem Gelenk (10) schwenkbar gehalten, das an einer auf dem Schirmmast (6) verschiebbaren Halteeinrichtung (9) vorgesehen ist. Das Oeffnen des Schirmdaches 1 erfolgt mit Hilfe eines Seiles 12, das von einer Befestigungsstelle (13) unterhalb der Halteeinrichtung (9) bis zu einer an der Schirmkrone (2) vorgesehenen Spreizvorrichtung (5) verläuft. Durch Aufwärtsschieben der Halteeinrichtung (9) und gleichzeitiges Ausschwenken der Dachstange (3') vom Mast (6) weg, entsteht am Seil (12) eine Zugspannung, durch die sich das Schirmdach (1) öffnet. Die Neigung des Schirmdaches 1 lässt sich einfach und zuverlässig durch Verändern der Neigung des Haltearmes (7) einstellen.
