L'objet de l'invention concerne un dispositif pour la fabrication d'un article chaussant. Selon l'invention, le dispositif comprend une forme (1) ayant une planche de forme (2), cette forme étant reliée à un système de pompage (10, 11) muni d'une unité de commande (12). La planche de forme (2) comporte au moins une rainure (6) placée à l'intérieur de cette planche (2), laquelle a une forme sensiblement parallèle à au moins une portion du pourtour de cette planche. Cette rainure (6) au moins comprend des orifices d'aspiration (5) placés à intervalles réguliers ou non, cette rainure (6) étant destinée par dépression à plaquer en le basculant le bord (9) correspondant d'une première (8) placée au-dessus de la planche de forme (2).

A device for removable fastening insoles to corresponding lasts by a strip of adhesive tape, includes means (0) for feeding a tape to a withdrawing station (2), with the adhesive surface of the tape being turned outward. The device includes also means (3) for cutting the tape in the withdrawing station (2). Pliers (2) move vertically from the withdrawing station (2), in which they catch the end of the tape (1), to a lower position, of the adjustable height. A working station (5) is situated beside the path followed by the pliers (2) on the side of the non adhesive surface of the tape. The working station (5) includes a transversal pad (50), moving axially in contrast to the elastic means (56) joined thereto. The working station (5) includes also first sensor means (57a) detecting a predetermined withdrawal of the pad (50) and controlling the cutting means (3) and the pliers means (4), and second sensor means (57b) detecting a predetermined withdrawal of the pad (50), bigger than the previous one, and controlling pushing means co-operating functionally with the pad (50).

A last with a device for fixing the insole to a shoe, having a plate-like template (2) for locating and guiding nails (3), arranged to cover at least part of the lower surface (4) of the heel portion (5). The last (1) comprises an internal seat (6) for accommodating, at the lower face of the heel portion (5), a nail supporting head (7) which can be slidingly received in the internal seat (6), and drive means arranged to move the nail supporting head (7) between a working position, in which the nails (3) carried by the head (7) protrude from the template (2), and a rest position, in which the nails (3) are completely retracted into the internal seat (6).

An arrangement for molding a flat insole (412) and adhesively attaching the molded insole to the bottom of a last (414) comprising an upper mold (62) and a lower mold (14) having complementary molding surfaces that are initially spaced from each other so that the flat insole is transported between the molding surfaces and are then closed upon the insole to mold the flat insole to the shape of the molding surfaces. The upper mold is then raised while the molded insole is retained on the upper mold molding surface after which the insole is released from the upper mold molding surface and descends onto the bottom of the last. The molded insole is then pressed onto the last bottom by an applicator (378) and is attached to the last bottom by an adhesive patch (421) on the last bottom that was previously applied to the last bottom by the applicator.

A method for assembling a shoe, wherein a last and an assembly insole are assembled by virtue of a band, after which the last is covered with an upper; finally, the band may be removed. The device includes an abutment body (16) and a resting member (22) which is suitable to support a last for the assembly of shoes.

A machine for applying a patch of adhesive onto the bottom of a last (94) comprising an adhesive applying member (89) movable downwardly into engagement with the last bottom and a shifting mechanism (34, 92) operative to so shift the adhesive applying mechanism during its downward movement as to cause the adhesive applying mechanism to engage the last bottom close to the toe end of the last.
