235 Manufacture of double-layered expansion-molded item JP20762887 1987-08-20 JPS6449623A 1989-02-27 KANEKO KATSUTOSHI; KOBAYASHI TOSHIO; WATARI MITSURU
PURPOSE:To obtain a double-layered expansion-molded item consisting of fabric, on which no poor external appearance develops, and expanded polyolefin layer by a method wherein the fabric is integrally laminated onto one side of the expanded polyolefin layer by expanding an expandable polyolefin sheet under un-expanded state by heating and at the same time by drawing. CONSTITUTION:A fabric 2 such as non-woven cloth or the like is integrally laminated onto one side of an expanded polyolefin layer 3, which is formed by expanding an expandable polyolefin sheet 4 under un-expanded state by heating with ceramic heaters 5 or the like, and, after that, by drawing the resultant fabric laminated layer with vertically registering pressing machines 6a and 6b in order to manufacture a double- layered expansion-molded item 1. Since the fabric 2 is impregnated with the surface layer of the expanded polyolefin layer 3, the expanded polyolefin layer 3 and the fabric 2 are integrally joined with each other without using adhesive and the drawing into various shapes is easy. Especially, the drawing at thick-walled part or thin-walled part is done easily. Since the fabric 2 such as non-woven cloth and the expanded polyolefin layer 3 can integrally laminated without direct heating of the fabric 2 with heater, no poor external appearance such as laid flocking or the like develops.
