An applicator for applying a sealing film to a vent for sealing the vent includes a first elongate member, a second elongate member having a bore extending along its length and receiving the first member within the bore, where the first elongate member is longer than the second elongate member and where a first end portion of the first elongate member extends beyond a first end of the second elongate member and a second end portion of the first elongate member extends beyond a second end of the first elongate member, and where the second elongate member is rotatable to various orientations relative to the first elongate member about a longitudinal axis.
