Another aspect of the invention is the sheet of building material. Another aspect of the invention is a method of making a laminate.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine thermoplastische Abdeckfolie zur Anwendung bei der Herstellung fälschungssicherer Ausweispapiere, die aus einer Basisschicht und aus einer Deckschicht aus einem teilverseiften Olefinvinylester-Copolymeren besteht.

Bei der Herstellung des fälschungssicheren Ausweispapieres wird die Abdeckfolie mit der Deckschichtseite auf das ein Foto tragende Ausweispapier heiss aufkaschiert und gegebenenfalls heiss unter Druck geprägt.

The composition comprises polyvinylpyridine-styrene-butadiene elastomer ("p-VSBR") in combination with a polyester or vinyl ester resin. Preferably, the resin used is a novolak and/or bisphenol based resin of the epoxy vinyl ester type. This composition, unlike conventional RFL adhesives, does not require any activation treatment, such as intermediate drying, at the time of use. A process for preparing such an adhesive composition, use of said composition for the manufacture of laminated composite parts.
