Die Faltvorrichtung (20) umfasst mindestens eine Förder-, Schub- und/oder Schließkette (22), die mehrere voneinander beabstandete Schub- oder Faltelemente (24) aufweist, die jeweils in definierten Abständen voneinander an der Kette (22) fixiert sind und einen über eine Förderebene der Kette (22) ragenden Schub- oder Faltabschnitt (28) aufweisen. Sie umfasst zudem eine Koppeleinrichtung (36) zum Verschwenken des Schub- oder Faltabschnittes (28) der jeweiligen Schub- oder Faltelemente (24) im Zusammenhang mit einer Richtungsänderung und/oder Umlenkung der Förder-, Schub- und/oder Schließkette (22). Jedes Schub- oder Faltelement (24) weist einen mit der Kette (22) verbundenen und über das Koppelelement (36) relativ zur Kettenlaufrichtung (30) verschwenkbaren Trägerabschnitt (34) sowie den an diesem verankerten und von diesem werkzeuglos lösbaren Schub- oder Faltabschnitt (28) auf.

Container for preparing a multiproduct, which comprises at least two products, one of said products being at least a first fluid and the other product possibly being a second fluid or a first solid product, said products being arranged in at least two compartments that are separated from one another by means of a seal that is frangible or can rupture under pressure, wherein a predetermined amount of the second fluid or first solid product is housed in one compartment and a predetermined amount of the first fluid is housed in the other compartment. By means of the present container, the products contained in the different compartments are prevented from mixing via the micropores in the material of the frangible seal, greater control is achieved over said seal and therefore problems when handling, storing and transporting the container are avoided, thereby increasing the storage life of the container, increasing the possibilities for using components that do not contain preservatives, enhancing the properties of the end product, and reducing unnecessary storage costs.

Verfahren und Anlage zur Faltung von aus Wellpappe bestehenden Zuschnitten (1) für die Herstellung von Faltschachteln (2), wobei die Zuschnitte (1) mit zumindest angenähert parallel zum Verlauf der Wellen (10) der Wellpappe und gegebenenfalls auch mit quer dazu ausgerichteten Rillen (11, 11a, 12), Ritzen, Perforationen od.dgl. ausgebildet sind, längs welcher Faltungen bzw. Knickungen vorgenommen werden können. Dabei wird in den Bereich zumindest eines Teiles der zumindest angenähert parallel zum Verlauf der Wellen (10) der Wellpappe ausgerichteten Rillen (11), Ritzen, Perforationen od.dgl., längs welcher eine Faltung erfolgt, vor dem Faltvorgang eine Flüssigkeit eingebracht, wodurch die im Bereich dieser Rillen (11), Ritzen, Perforationen od.dgl. befindliche Wellpappe schmiegsam gemacht wird.

A folding unit (1) for producing folded packages (2) of pourable food products from sealed packs (3), comprising:

- conveying means (27) fed with a plurality of packs (3) at an input station (21), which feed packs (3) along a forming path (B) and output folded packages (2) at an output station (22); and

- folding means (23, 24) cooperating with each pack (3) to perform a folding operation on pack (3);

comprising:

- a pair of shells (50) which are integrally movable along said forming path (B) and are movable relative to each other along a direction (C) transversal to said forming path (B);

the shells (50) may be set along said direction (C) in:

- a fully closed position in which they exert a pressure onto a relative pack (3), to complete a folding operation onto a pack (3); and

-an open position detached from the folded package (2).

A package (10) having a recloseable pour spout (28) is disclosed, with the package including front and rear package panels (12,14) which may be joined at respective side edges thereof by inwardly extending side gussets (16,18). An upper edge portion of the package is removable, including one of the side gussets, to form a pour spout (28) for dispensing the contents of the package. A fastener strip (30), which can be detachably connected to itself, extends between confronting inside surfaces of the front and rear package panels (12,14), adjacent to the pour spout (28), whereby the pour spout can be conveniently closed after the package is initially opened. The package can include a longitudinal seal (40) which extends from adjacent the pour spout (28) to overlap the fastener strip (30); When the package includes side gussets, the package may include an arrangement of corner seals, with the corner seals at the one of the gussets at which the package pour spout is formed not extending the full length of the package, thereby desirably facilitating shaping of the package to form the pour spout. A method of forming the present package is also disclosed.
