2 METHOD OF PRODUCING LAMINATED BOTTLES HAVING PEELABLE INNER LAYER EP00963061.7 2000-10-02 EP1180424A1 2002-02-20 HAMAMOTO, Keiji, Taisei Kako Co Ltd; MITSUHASHI, Hirokazu, Taisei Kako Co Ltd

The present invention provides a method of making laminated bottles each having an outer layer and an inner layer capable of delaminating from the former layer. The method consists of the step of injection molding an outer preform from a molten first resin, and the next step of injection molding an inner preform inside the outer preform, using a molten second resin. The method further has the final step of blow molding a parison composed of the outer and inner preforms so as to form each laminated bottle. The second resin has a melting point lower than that of the first resin, nevertheless and contrarily to the prior art, precise parisons affording satisfactory lamination can now be prepared by the injection molding steps. In addition, ventilation holes are formed in the outer layer readily and surely without damaging the inner layer.

The invention relates to a method of making a laminated bottle (20) having an outer layer (20b) and an inner layer (20c) laminated on an inner surface of the outer layer (20b) so as to be capable of delaminating from the surface.

In the method at least one ventilation hole (20d) is formed at the step of injection molding of the outer preform (7A) to allow ambient air to flow in between the outer and inner layers (20b,20c) and that when the inner preform (7B) is subsequently injection molded, at least one pin is inserted from outside and through the outer preform (7A) into the ventilation hole (20d) in such a manner that an end portion of the at least one pin (23) is held substantially in flush with the inner surface of the outer preform (7A).

A molded plastic applicator for cosmetics, such as a mascara brush, including an integral molded plastic panel that lies substantially in a mold plane when formed and is bent out of the mold plane to surround an extended longitudinal axis when the applicator is assembled. A plurality of openings, or projections such as bristles, are formed in or on the panel so as to be oriented substantially in a common pull direction transverse to the mold plane when the panel lies in the mold plane and to be oriented substantially radially of the longitudinal axis in directions distributed around the axis when the panel is bent to surround the axis. A retainer holds the panel bent out of the plane in surrounding relation to the axis. The panel may be formed as a plurality of free-ended limbs, radiating from a hub through which the longitudinal axis extends, and bent down around the axis; alternatively, it may be generally rectangular as formed, and bent into a cylinder about the axis, or it may be formed as a band that is wound helically about the axis. A method of making the applicator includes steps of molding the panel, bending the panel about the axis, and retaining the panel in the bent configuration.

14 Method for producing a clamping member of a hair clip, the clamping member, and a hair clip including two clamping members US14980805 2015-12-28 US09924772B2 2018-03-27 Shih Ling Hsu
A method for producing a clamping member of a hair clip includes filling a plastic material into a cavity defined by a fixed mold and a movable mold, forming a clamping member. The plastic material in rectilinear passages and grooves in the movable mold form teeth on a clamping portion of the clamping member. Then, the movable mold disengages from the fixed mold with the clamping member remaining on the movable mold. Next, the clamping member is moved away from the movable mold by a distance. The plastic material in each groove becomes an elongated section. Before the plastic material completely cures, the clamping member completely disengages from the movable mold. The elongated section of each tooth bends downwards due to gravitational force and completely cures to form a hooked section. The remaining portion of each tooth forms a rectilinear section interconnected between the hooked section and the clamping portion.

One aspect of the present invention is concerned with a method of manufacture of a hair brush. The method has the steps of providing a base member having connection means at circumferential region thereof, providing a sheet material having a plurality of spikes extending from outwardly facing surface of the sheet material, the sheet material and the spikes are integrally formed by injection molding of a plastic(s) material selected from the group consisting of thermoplastics polyester elastomer (TPE-E), polyether block amide copolymer (TPE-A), thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and polyurethane (PU), with a hardness from substantially Shore D50 to D65, and with a flexural modulus from 30,000 PSI to 40,000 PSI, assembling the sheet material by fitting perimeter thereof to the circumferential region of the base member, the base member and the connection means are configured to allow the sheet material to secure to the base member. The outwardly facing surface assumes a convex curvature. In an assembled configuration, a cavity is defined between the sheet material and the base member. In use, when the spikes are under pressure the spikes are movable in response to the pressure, causing corresponding movement to the sheet material, the movement creating a cushioning effect.

The present invention relates to the method for manufacturing of comb-handle, more particularly to the method capable of manufacturing the comb-handle that its appearance is very beautiful because it has dual structure and the pattern including a logo is printed between two layers. In the present invention that is manufactured by the method including the manufacturing procedure of the comb-handle core by injection molding; the forming procedure of the pattern on the surface of the comb-handle core; the diluting procedure after mixing a small amount of hardener and antifoam with Formica; the manufacturing procedure of the comb-handle that is hardened and dried after forming Formica layer to the outer face of the comb-handle core by fixing the comb-handle core to the inside of mold and by inputting the Formica dilute solution; the cutting processing procedure of the surface of the comb-handle; the glossy processing procedure of the surface of the comb-handle, the method for manufacturing of such a comb-handle that has an individuality and more high-grade beauty sense that is distinguished from the prior goods because even though the comb-handle is used for a long time, the pattern is not disappeared by forming the pattern between the comb-handle core and Formica layer and it has dual structure is provided.
