PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for lubricating a saw chain 23 guided through a first channel 12 having a flat section 21, as an end part, wherein a lubricant is provided from a lubrication pump and a guide pipe 22 is fitted to the flat section 21 so that it can be adjusted. SOLUTION: An end part of a first channel 12 has a long cup 13-like shape to be bonded onto a surface of the guide bar 22 and is tightly sealed between the first channel 12 and an inlet 25 arranged inside an edge of the long cup shaped end part 13 of the first channel 12 on the surface of the guide bar 22. The first channel 12 containing the long cup shaped end part is made of an elastic material so as to be tightly sealed between the first channel 12 and the surface of the guide bar 22. PURPOSE: To reduce the number of components by allowing motion of a fuel diaphragm in a carburetor within a third recess in a carburetor housing, and by defining an operation chamber of an oil pump diaphragm in a first and a second recess therein. CONSTITUTION: A carburetor oil pump assembly 16 for a chain saw is mainly composed of a carburetor part 17, an oil pump part 19 and a cover 22. In a carburetor housing 18, a fuel diaphragm 30 is reciprocally arranged in a third recess 88 so as to feed fuel which has flown into a reservoir 36 through a fuel inflow needle 26, into an internal combustion engine through a valve 32. Further, an oil pump diaphragm is reciprocally arranged in a first and a second recess 50, 84 so as to drive a piston 70 through the reciprocal motion thereof in order to feed oil into a saw chain from a conduit 46. PURPOSE:To enhance thermal efficiency and reduce the consumption of a fuel used, by providing a raw material gas flow and combustion gas flow in a countercurrent state in one reaction tube and carrying out heat exchange. CONSTITUTION:A reaction tube 1 is divided into the upper reaction zone 7 filled with a reforming catalyst and lower reaction zone 8 with a partition wall 6 and a raw material gas conduit 9, passing through the reaction zone 8 and filled with the reforming catalyst and a reforming conduit 10 upwardly extending in the reaction zone 7 are provided. A raw material mixture of a hydrocarbon with steam is then fed from a raw material feed pipe 11 along an arrow (A) and made to flow down in the direction of an arrow (B) while contacting the reforming catalyst in the reaction zone 7 and subjected to countercurrent heat exchange with a flow (D1) of a fuel gas at a relatively low temperature and start reforming reaction. The raw material mixture is subsequently flowed down in the conduit 9 along an arrow (B1), reversed at the bottom of the tube 1, raised on the tube wall side of the tube 1 in the direction of arrows (B2) and subjected to heat exchange with a flow (D2) of a combustion gas at a high temperature to complete reaction. The resultant mixture is then raised in the conduit 10 in the direction of an arrow (B3) to carry out heat exchange with the flows (B) of the mixture. The obtained mixture is subsequently discharged from a discharge pipe 12.

PURPOSE: To make it possible to structure a guide plate so that the lubricant continuing function may be improved by scrap eliminating materials and manufacture a fill body matching to a groove size and lubricant bore by mounting the fill body in a guide groove of the edge side coupled with scraps eliminating materials on a saw chain to form a protruded portion of a groove bottom and further, lowering the end surface thereof with the lubricating bore portion. CONSTITUTION: A saw chain 3 is provided with a scrap eliminating material 4 mounted between side materials 5 and 6, and the bottom section 4A is coupled with a guide groove 8 of a guide plate 2. A fill body 10 is on a groove bottom 8A and the end surface 10A is protruded to the groove bottom, the center of which becomes like concave and a lubricating bore 9 is exposed thereon. The distance which the fill body 10 is extended to the elongated direction is several times the diameter of the lubricant bore so that the lubricant may be distributed to the chain pivotted section 7 before the scrap eliminating material 4 leaves the protruded portion 10A of the groove bottom 8A. A tool to form the fill body 10 in the guide groove 8 has a protruded section in the center of a narrow board to be inserted in the guide groove 8 and further, covers the lower region of the lubricating bore 9.
