PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve effective utilization in an emergency by a method wherein at least two kinds of electrically-driven members are integrally rotatably connected to an output axis of a prime mover to transmit power of the prime mover to an operation part so that changing of functions can be rapidly carried out, leaving a main body part in which the prime mover is provided as it is. SOLUTION: In a power work machine 1, a rotary electrically-driven assembly 10 comprising a pulley 30, a sprocket wheel 25, and a centrifugal clutch 20 is integrally rotatably connected to a crank shaft 15 of an engine 1. In order to switch an operator in which the machine is functioning as an engine cutter 1 to an operation in which the machine is functioning as a chain saw, a protection cover 32 and a cutter disk unit 40 comprising a cutter disk, blade cover, and supporter arm 42 are removed from a main body part 2. A V-belt 41 is removed from the pulley 30 and a saw chain set is mounted to the main body part. A saw chain is placed around the sprocket wheel 25. | ||||||

PURPOSE: To keep a balance which is capable of applying force to blade edge to be obtained, while the eccentric distance between a motion-transferring mechanism and a tool body-supporting point is shortened, and the device is made compact as a whole by providing the final output ring which receives the planetary motion of the planetary gear which constitutes a sun gear as reduced rotary motion at the position which surrounds an original driving shaft and in the inside of the sun gear. CONSTITUTION: Since the planetary gears 5 which constitute sun gears 4 achieve planetary motion, while they enclose the central parts of the sun gears 4, the final output ring 7 which surrounds an original driving shaft 1 may be reducibly rotated through the shaft 10 which supports the planetary gear 5. Since the final output ring 7 acts also as a pully 6, it transfers its rotary force to the side of a cutter-fixing shaft 2, while a belt 3 is used as an intermediate ring. Consequently, the reduction device may be intensively made light and compact, and the light and fatigueless tool may be obtained, though it has the reduction device.
