Then the ceiling is removed and put in a sealed vessel to be transported to a waste deposit. The plastic sheets in the room are folded and cleaned by wet procedure, when care should be taken so that contaminant does not sputter. The nozzle 16 of a spear-form nozzle 10 is set between two crosspieces 22, and an envelope forming substance is atomized so that the whole surfaces of a mat 24 made of inorganic synthetic fiber are covered with film layers. PURPOSE: To seal asbestos for a long period according to an economic method by coating a powder dust splash preventing processing agent on a spray asbestos layer on a base panel, maintaining the thickness of the asbestos layer and securing. CONSTITUTION: A powder dust splash preventing and processing agent is coated on the surface of a spray asbestos layer 12 on a base panel 14. Then, a glass cloth 7 is bonded to the surface of the coating layer 13 and a hole is bored in the vicinity of a center thereof by a drill. The asbestos layer 12 is held and fixed while maintaining an original thickness to the base panel 14 by an asbestos layer holding means consisting of a bolt 1 having the sleeve 3 with a prescribed length and a nut 2. The length of this sleeve 3 is calculated on the basis of the thickness of the base panel 14 and the asbestos layer 12 and the bolt 1 is completely tightly fastened. An arrangement for removing dust from the atmosphere during cleaning of a generally flat surface, such as floor, includes a reservoir for providing water to a nozzle. Also included is an air compressor and a compressed air tank. Compressed air is provided in a controlled manner at an elevated pressure to the nozzle to reduce the water to minute droplets which absorb/encapsulate the dust particles and deposit them on the floor surface under the influence of gravity. A manual or automatic pressure regulator coupled to the outlet of the compressed air tank allows for selecting the air velocity and the size of the water droplets to match the size of the dust particles to increase the extent of dust removal. This dust removal approach can be used with virtually any type of generally flat surface and the compressed air has a siphoning effect to increase the water droplets produced and the dust particles removed.

A method of applying a protective cladding, particularly to gas-tight membranes of energy boilers involves coupling of two gas-tight membranes (2) together, and then soaking a pair of gas-tight membranes (2) coupled together at 300°C to 800°C, favorably at around 700°C; afterwards, the membrane (2) surface where a cladding (1) is to be applied is cleaned, a pair of gas-tight membranes (2) coupled together is mounted on a positioner and then preheated up to 80°C to 600°C, favorably to around 300°C-450°C, and then the cleaned and preheated surface of a pair of gas- tight membranes (2) coupled together is covered with a protective cladding (1), wherein a protective cladding is applied at a thickness of 0.1 mm to 3.00 mm, favorably around 0.6 mm, and then the entire pair of gas-tight membranes (2) coupled together with a cladding (2) is finally soaked at 300°C to 800°C, favorably at around 700°C, and the set temperature is maintained for 10 minutes to 600 minutes, favorably for 15 minutes to 30 minutes, and finally, gas-tight membranes (2) with a cladding are uncoupled.
