6 | Ambiversatile multi-furrow plough with variable angle displacement incorporating tilling blade elements | EP92830045.8 | 1992-02-04 | EP0498775A1 | 1992-08-12 | Sabbadini, Giovanni |
The present invention relates to a multi-furrow plough which is particularly suitable for working the surface soil and at the same time tilling the ground in order to facilitate the drainage, the oxygenation and the storing of humidity during the summer months. The main characteristic of the present plough is the ambiversatility and the variable angle displacement which permits on the one hand to carry out consecutive passages on the soil, both onwards and backwards, the direction of cutting of the tools being automatically varied, and on the other hand to automatically adjust both the angulation of the ploughshares and the distance among, the furrows. In general, the present plough comprises a fixed support (5) on an end of which a central part of an arm (6) is pivoted. The arm (6) is arranged horizontally and may be pivoted at least 90° in both opposite directions. The aforesaid arm is moved in both directions by a piston (8), which may be hydraulic, pneumatic or the like. Moreover, the arm supports a series of ploughshares (15), the distance among them being adjustable. A tilling blade (20) is arranged under each ploughshare. |

Scarifier for deep strip-tillage, that after a single trip allows the soil to be in adequate conditions for planting or sowing, operating with a great energy efficiency, contributing to an improvement in the production environment. The scarifier comprises a plurality of tillage units (a), spaced apart and located parallel to each other, and wherein each tillage unit (a) comprises a support structure (2) on which the corresponding tines (1a, 1b, 1c) are mounted, the lower ends of which are located at different heights, with the depth below the ground (d) being greater toward the rear of the scarifier. The scarifier preferably incorporates a fertilization system.
10 | Field breaking implement | US884203 | 1992-05-18 | US5249633A | 1993-10-05 | Robert R. Biesemeyer |
A field breaking or tilling implement. The implement is mounted or located at a lower end of a shank which is adapted to be drawn behind a tractor. At the lower forward end of the shank is located a chisel point adapted to be pulled through the soil at a position just below a sub-surface hard pan soil layer. Extending rearwardly from the shank is a plow extension which mounts a plow member in spaced relation from the shank. The plow member is located directly behind the chisel, and serves to lift and break the soil. A method of tilling is also disclosed in which a plow member is pulled through the soil directly behind a chisel member.

A soil cultivating machine has a front row of subsoil penetrating tools and a second soil working member or row of members that work the top soil. The tools can be strip-shaped tines, at least some of which have plate-shaped elements pivoted to their lower ends. The elements or tines are connected to an eccentric mechanism that periodically raises and lowers the elements as the machine is operated. The second soil working member can be a row of tined rotors or an elongated further working member that extends transverse to the direction of travel and works the top soil from a direction that is different from the direction of movement of the strip-shaped tines. Intermixing the worked top soil and the subsoil is prevented.

A cultivating machine has subsoil tines and corresponding plate-shaped elements are pivoted to the lower portions of the tines. A driving mechanism, including at least one eccentric is connected to one or more of the elements or tines and the elements are caused to pivot up and down at their working depths to only partially raise the subsoil. The driving mechanism can also be connected to a further soil working member with soil engaging bars positioned to oscillate and work the topsoil.
