An exercise device (1), for example a dumbbell or barbell, for weightlifting and other fitness activities comprises a lifting bar (2) having an axis (3) and opposed axial ends, and a pair of weight sections (4) mounted spaced apart on the respective opposed axial ends of the lifting bar (2). The lifting bar (2) extends between the spaced apart weight sections (2) defining a handle (5). Each weight section (4) has an outer circumferential surface (8), an inner axial end face and an outer axial end face (10). The circumferential surface (8) of at least one of the weight sections (4) comprises a plurality of grooves (12; 12a,12b,12c), preferably arranged in set (13,14) on diametrically opposed sides of the weight section (4), each extending generally circumferentially around only part of the outer circumferential surface of the weight section (4) and spaced substantially axially from an adjacent groove (12; 12a,12b,12c) axially along the outer circumferential surface of the weight section (4). The sets (13,14) of grooves define grip areas on the weight section (4) with there preferably also being recess portion (18,22) formed in the axial end faces (10,11), to enable a user to better grip and lift the dumbbell (1) by the weight sections (4). The outer circumferential surface (8) is also preferably of a barrelled shape to match and fit in the palm of a users hand.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Gerät zur Erstellung und Auswertung von Trainingsplänen, mit dem für einen oder mehrere Trainierende jeweils individuell Übungen als Bestandteil eines Trainingsprogrammes hinsichtlich ihrer Art und ihrer Eigenschaften festgelegt und in Form eines Trainingsplanes ausgegeben werden. Dabei können neben Vorgaben eines Trainers weitere Daten berücksichtigt werden, die bei zurückliegenden Übungen verfügbar wurden. Trainingsergebnisse können handschriftlich in den Trainingsplan eingetragen werden. Anschließend kann der Trainingsplan mit Hilfe der vorgeschlagenen Erfindung abgetastet und die Trainingsergebnisse gespeichert und elektronisch weiterverarbeitet werden.

A cycling suit (1) comprising a plurality of fabric panels which are associated along structural seam lines, the suit comprising left and right leg portions (2), wherein each one of said left and right leg portions is made of a single fabric panel (3), said panel having two curvilinear opposite sides (5, 6) and being folded until said opposite sides meet each other, forming a curvilinear and substantially S-shaped seam line (4) in the rear part of the leg portion (2), and wherein said seam is the only seam of the respective leg portion of the suit.

The dais comprises legs (1) linked by struts (2) to form a platform. Further struts (3) and a safety rail (4) can also be provided. Seats (5) which are swivelable and adjustable in height are provided as is a ladder (7) to gain access to the plaform. The dais is secured to the wall (8) by way of the bracket arrangement at (A).
