31 AUTOMATIC BALL DELIVERY AND SWING CONDITIONING DEVICE US15269894 2016-09-19 US20170072282A1 2017-03-16 Norman Drake Lewis; Waldon Lewis
An automatic launching assembly that delivers balls vertically from the ground upwards to a user. The user may take swings at the vertically-launched balls and deliver the balls into a catching assembly. The catching assembly intercepts the balls and directs the balls to a return ramp and a ball sequencer. The ball sequencing mechanism aligns the balls into a single-file line and returns each ball back to the launching mechanism.
32 Continuous ball feed and stroke practice device US14850487 2015-09-10 US09555307B1 2017-01-31 Norman Drake Lewis; Waldon Lewis
A ground based launching assembly for feeding balls vertically upwards to a user. The user may takes strokes at fed balls, thereby delivering the balls towards a catching assembly. The catching assembly receives the balls and gently returns the ball back to the launching assembly. Disposed between the catching assembly and the launching assembly is a return ramp and a ball sequencer. These require no more than ten feet in length. Such a device may be readily used in a single car garage or other small room.

A device for training users to utilize proper mechanics when throwing a football includes an open-ended glove having a slot communicating with a compartment that is sized to receive an arched insert plate. When the glove is worn by a user, the arched insert plate permits flexion of the user's wrist while preventing extension of the user's wrist, unless sufficient force is applied. When throwing a football, the arched insert plate prevents the user's wrist from improperly extending backwards during the follow-through motion of throwing a football. A padded spacer is included on the surface of the palmar portion of the glove for encouraging the user to properly grip the football using primarily his or her fingertips.

A game includes a pair of rackets for propelling and catching a projectile. Each racket includes a rim for supporting a net between its inner periphery and one of a hook and a loop on an outer periphery. The projectile includes a generally circular member and an elastic band. The band carries the other of the hook and loop which cooperates with the racket for propelling the projectile. The racket may be positioned to catch the propelled projectile in the net.
38 COVER FOR THE SHAFT OF A LACROSSE STICK US12892144 2010-09-28 US20110015005A1 2011-01-20 Vincent Pfeifer
A sheath for a lacrosse stick includes a cap and a rolled sheath. The cap is mounted on the free end of a lacrosse stick and the sheath is unrolled onto the stick to the desired length or the entire length of the stick. The cap and sheath are preferably made from injection molded rubber, neoprene of other polymers that permit production in various thickness, colors and lengths. The elasticity of the material preferably gives it memory and durability. The diameter of the sheath is preferably smaller than the diameter of the lacrosse stick so that it stretches to a tight fit. After the sheath is unrolled to the desired length, excess material may be cut off, if desired.
