1 Foot toy US3758891D 1971-06-01 US3758891A 1973-09-18 GEISTER H
A foot toy of controllable height comprises a foot-receiving sole element which has means, such as heel and toe straps, to confine or retain an inserted foot when the device is donned, and two or more spaced projections or pegs disposed on the lower surface of the sole element. An auxiliary sole-like element is provided with recesses in its upper surface to receive the abovementioned projections or pegs in firm but detachable relationship, and also has pegs or projections on its lowerface, so that the toy can be built up to any desired height by addition of as many auxiliary units as desired. The sole element and the auxiliary element are slightly spaced from each other whereby the loading stress is borne by the pegs.
2 Pair of stilt boots US3595339D 1970-02-24 US3595339A 1971-07-27 BALLARD WESLEY D; STALEY JOHN H
The invention discloses a pair of stilt boots, incrementally vertically adjustable, whereby the operator, by foot movement, can selectively release the spring urged latched foot plates attached to his respective left and right feet, to raise or lower them by selective weight shift and foot pressure control. Each boot mainly comprises a boot housing or latch lug positioner or support providing vertically spaced apart latch means under which a step plate, to which a foot of the operator is attached, may be latched in increments of vertical adjustment.

Footwear for use with a plurality of footwear-mounted devices, a combination of footwear and footwear-mounted devices, and footwear-mounted devices. In some cases, the footwear may include a heel portion and forefoot portion that may be independently coupled in a locked engagement with the footwear-mounted devices. In one embodiment, the footwear-mounted device may be slidably coupled with the heel receiver and/or the forefoot receiver with an insertion motion that is substantially coplanar with the footwear's sole.
6 Walking aid device US910908 1978-05-30 US4247996A 1981-02-03 Pierre A. Grapin; Georges M. Grapin
A walking aid device is disclosed which permits a user to increase his stride without requiring auxiliary elements that slide or roll, and makes use only of the muscles normally used in walking. The device has a lower part-circular base made of non-skid material and extending over an angular sector corresponding to a subtending chord of length equal to 1.5 times its radius of curvature, and a board fixed across the base equidistantly from the ends of the base, to receive the users foot. The board is equal in length to the radius of curvature of the base.

9 Foot plate assembly with adjustable symmetric retention strap arrangement US11019795 2004-12-20 US07780581B1 2010-08-24 Raymond L. Emmert
An apparatus attachable to a foot of a user, such as in a leg extension mechanism (stilt device). First and second support members extend from opposing sides of a foot support surface adapted to support the foot. A retention strap has opposing first and second ends each removeably attachable to the support members by the user, preferably by an opposing pair of buckle assemblies. The strap, the support members and the foot support surface maintain the strap in a semi-circular arc nominally symmetric about a centerline of the surface, with the arc having a width greater than a width of the foot support surface to facilitate insertion of the foot between the surface and the strap along the centerline. The support members are preferably slideably adjustable to accommodate different foot widths. A toe guide is also preferably slideably adjustable to align the toes of the foot along the centerline.
10 Bucket walker system US12077874 2008-03-21 US07674207B1 2010-03-09 Donald W. Weaver; Charles E. Waltz, III
A coupling assembly is adapted to removably couple an associated bucket to an associated foot of a user. The coupling assembly includes a lower component. The lower component is adapted to encompass an associated bucket. The coupling assembly also includes an upper component. The upper component is formed as a strap. The upper component is adapted to couple with respect to a foot of a user. The coupling assembly also includes an intermediate component. The intermediate component is formed as a plurality of vertical straps. The straps couple the upper and lower components.
11 Rocker boot with adjustable degree of rotation US11032429 2005-01-10 US20050164845A1 2005-07-28 Craig DiGiovanni
The present invention relates to a rocker boot for stretching or strengthening muscles. The rocker boot includes a arcuate base, a footrest, two arcuate rails on either side of the base, a bar located adjacent to the arcuate surface, and an adjustable securing mechanism to secure the bar to a rail. The degree of rotation of the rocker boot is adjustable by moving the bar to a different position on the arcuate base. In use, the bar comes into contact with a surface when the boot is rocked far enough in one direction, thereby limiting the degree of rotation in that direction. Boots may include one or two bars and rotation may be limited in the forward or backward direction or both. Two rocker boots may be combined to allow exercise of both legs and feet simultaneously.
12 Shoe holder adapters for stiff platform US956128 1978-10-30 US4255822A 1981-03-17 William Dixon
A shoe adapter for use for holding the user's shoe in fixed engagement with the shoe receiving stilt platforms of utility stilts, the shoe adapter including a frontal member fixedly secured to the stilt platform adapted to receive the frontal area of the user's shoe and including a heel member fixedly secured to the stilt platform in spaced relation with respect to the frontal member such that when the heel of the shoe of the user is placed within the heel member, the frontal area of the user's shoe will be locatable within the frontal member, the frontal member including a frontal base directly attached to the platform and a rigid upper member extending from one lateral end of the frontal base to the other lateral end of the frontal base to define a frontal shoe area receiving opening between the rigid upper member and the frontal base, the heel member including a heel base fixedly secured to the stilt platform, and at least two lateral heel plates extending upwardly from the lateral edges of the heel base to define a heel receiving means, the two lateral heel plates being alternatively inclined slightly inwardly to facilitate the retaining of the heel of the user's shoe in the adapter.
13 Foot-wearable stilt US748489 1976-12-08 US4088336A 1978-05-09 Lesley Chapel
A pair of elevating structures to be worn on the feet, each of the structures comprising a ground contact unit to which a vertically separated foot receiving unit is joined to form a unitary structure. The ground contact unit has a horizontal base plate from which rear, side, and front walls extend upwardly to form a hollow structure, a portion of these walls extending further upward in the form of a hollow tower on the rear portion of the unit to which tower the foot receiving unit is joined. The tower extends under the rear half of the foot receiving unit so that the weight of the wearer is centered over the tower and transferred from the tower to the ground contact unit. The forward part of the foot receiving unit is cantilevered from the tower and forms an open area between the forward portion of the foot receiving unit and the lower part of the ground contact unit. The foot receiving unit has semi-flexible walls and means to close the walls about the feet of the wearer. In one embodiment, the undersurface of the base plate is concave to provide edges for gripping the ground surface. In another embodiment, a pair of rollers are attached at the respective ends of the base plate, the rollers at the forward end of the base plate being positioned beyond the forward extension of the foot receiving unit.
