PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for automatically generating the records of activity which is more valid for recording the characteristics of places where people visit as excellent aesthetic appeal articles.
SOLUTION: In this system for generating the records of activity concerning routes including visits at a plurality of places, the records are made valid for recording the characteristics of the activity as aesthetic appeals. The participants in the activity are allowed to carry recorders so that the coordinates of places where the participants visit can be recorded by those recorders. The information is downloaded to a processing computer, and souvenirs are generated.

A golf cart control and monitoring system on a golf course including a plurality of sensors arranged along a golf cart path at locations corresponding to at least a teeing ground, a fairway, and a putting green of each hole of the golf course in which each of the sensors includes a sensor ID transmitting apparatus. Each of a plurality of golf carts traveling on the golf cart path includes a golf cart ID transmitting apparatus configured to maintain communication between the sensors and the golf carts. Also included is a golf cart control station having a golf cart location device configured to determine locations of the golf carts traveling on the golf cart path. The golf cart location device includes a radio transmitter/receiver configured to receive information on the golf cart IDs and a current location of the golf carts in the golf course from the sensors and the golf carts. The location device also includes a signal processing unit configured to process information on the golf cart IDs and the current location of the golf carts and to provide a table including location information corresponding to the current location of each golf cart on the teeing ground, the fairway and the putting green of each hole of the entire gold course. The location information is displayed in a sequentially straight line or a bar graph. A display indicates a progress of the golf carts on the table as the golf carts travel around the golf course. |

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club-selecting method and a selecting system by which a golf club being suitable for a golfer can be properly selected. SOLUTION: This golf club-selecting method and the selecting system comprise steps (a), (b) and (c). In the step (a), at least one of the head speed value and the ball-hitting data value (the initial speed, the hitting out angle, the backspin amount, the side spin amount, and the flight distance) when a golfer hits a golf ball by a golf club (my club) is acquired. In the step (b), the ideal ball- hitting data value (your ideal data) of the golfer based on at least one of the head speed value and the ball-hitting data value acquired in the step (a) is acquired. In the step (c), a golf club which is suitable for the golfer based on the ideal ball-hitting data value acquired in the step (b) is selected. |

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lap counter using a receiver for global measurement by composing it of a means for storing the instruction of a start position on the surface of the earth in a storage device, a means for increasing the count number in response to the judgment that the device started from the start position and returned to it. SOLUTION: A lap counter consists of a means storing the instruction of a start position on the surface of the earth in a storage device and a means increasing the number moving in response to judgement that the device starts from the start position and returns to it. In the lap counter 5, a user starts the operation of the lap counter 5 by depressing a position setting button 111. An I/O interface 103 communicate that the position setting button 11 is depressed to a processor 101, responds and moves the instruction to a GPS receiver 104 and outputs a start position word showing the present position of the lap counter 5 on the surface of the earth onto a bus 121. |

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp player's position and motion, which is not recorded by a camera, in real time by reading, from a data storage means, position coordinates and time information of information transmitting means fitted to a ball and each player for generating a picture image, and displaying the generated picture image.
SOLUTION: A central control device 5 starts transmitting operation of information transmitting means 3 fitted to a ball 4 and players, at the same time a game starts, and time intervals of information to be transmitted from the ball 4 and the players are set and made controllable. A radio transmitting/ receiving means 6 periodically receives information transmitted from the information transmitting means 3, and stores position coordinate data by adding received time data into a data storage means 7. The central control device 5 reads, from the data storage means 7, information such as position coordinates, time information, etc., of the information transmitting means 3 fitted to the ball 4 and each player, and pass them to a picture image processing means 8 for generating positions of the ball 4 and the players on a picture image display means 9 based on the information.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the motion of golf ball measurable even outdoors with an inexpensive means. SOLUTION: The passage of a club head hitting a set ball 11 before hitting is detected by a sensor means 13, and a detection signal is transmitted to the trigger means of a control unit 16 after the sensor means 13 detects the passage. The trigger means receives the detection signal and transmits a shutter signal to 1st and 2nd cameras 14 and 15 set sideways at some interval to each other in a specified distance from the position of he ball and set in order to photograph the hit ball 11 with a time lag to improve timing, thereby, photographing is performed. |

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sporting goods device and a feedback method by which various parameters at the time of training are selfcompletely instrumented so as to be instantaneously fed back to a user.
SOLUTION: Arrays of individual sensor elements arranged closely on the surface of an instrumented sporting goods are incorporated so that the contacting force between the contact surface and the contact object is converted into a plurality of individual output signals. These signals are processed and information based thereon is produced, and the information represents one or a plurality of useful parameters. As an embodiment, an instrumented golf club represents the club head speed at the time a golf ball is hit, club head angle, and club head height to assist a golfer when the next stroke is controlled. Since the instrumentation and the indicating device are completely housed in the club, the golfer is not restricted in the use of the club, and can receive the benefit while playing on a golf course.
