41 Dispensing system and method for shower arm US13033377 2011-02-23 US09157218B2 2015-10-13 Alan David Somerfield; Thomas Jay Sandusky
Dispensing systems for dispensing one or more materials into a fluid flow conduit, during the conveyance of fluid through the conduit are configured to connect to a fluid conduit, such as a standard pipe of a shower arm and dispense a material into the water flow in the shower arm. The system includes a first tube member having a restrictor flow passage to provide a pressure differential, as fluid flows through the tube member. The pressure differential created within the restrictor passage by the fluid flow is communicated to a flask, to provide a pressure differential between the interior and the exterior of a flexible container within the flask. The pressure differential causes material within the flexible container to be drawn out and conveyed to the fluid flowing through the tube member. The flask may be connected to the first tube member, through an extension portion that is rotatable around the first tube member for convenient positioning. A quick-release connection structure may allow the flask to be connected and selectively releasable from the system.

43 Fire extinguisher activating a remote alarm US11153130 2005-06-16 US20060283608A1 2006-12-21 Curt Hauck
A fire extinguisher has a combination alarm system attached thereto or in contact therewith. The alarm is energized when a fire extinguisher is removed from any one location which sends a signal to a remote monitor to indicate such a removal. the alarm system also includes a signal which is generated when a fire extinguisher is used to douse a fire. The signal is generated when the trigger of the fire extinguisher is activated to expel the fire fighting fluid from the extinguisher. This signal is sent to the proper authority by way an RF transmitter.
44 Portable particulate spreader US273456 1999-03-22 US6092746A 2000-07-25 Patrick Dillon
A portable particulate spreader comprising a container having a closed end, an open end and a storage chamber for holding particulate materials therein. A first strap handle is affixed to a side of the container adjacent the closed end. A second strap handle is pivotally affixed to same side of the container approximately midway between closed end and open end, so that a person can grasp the strap handles with both hands and toss particulate materials out of open end. The container further includes an agitation assembly for automatically agitating particulate materials within the container, so as to prevent particulate materials from sticking together. A dispensing assembly is for automatically dispensing particulate materials out of open end of the container.
45 Aerosol dispenser particularly useful as a pocket fire extinguisher US825396 1977-08-17 US4142650A 1979-03-06 Albert A. Almouli
An aerosol dispenser particularly useful as a pocket fire extinguisher comprises a housing having a plurality (e.g. two) of aerosol containers in side-by-side relationship, each including a depressible valve within the housing and a dispensing nozzle aligned with one of a plurality of housing outlet openings. The housing further includes a single pivotable operator having a manipulatable element externally of the housing and a plurality of actuating elements internally of the housing effective to depress the valve members of all the aerosol containers upon pivoting of the operator. The dispenser further includes a blocking element located to block the movement of the operator, the blocking element being integrally formed with the housing as a portion of its wall underlying the manipulatable element of the operator and joined to the housing by a weakened juncture to permit its forceful removal and thereby to enable the pivoting of the operator at the time the contents of the aerosol containers are to be dispensed.
