PURPOSE:To enable the relay over a wide variety of range with one set of light transmitter, by controlling the projective angle of transmitter so that it is inversely proportional to the distance between the transmitter and receiver. CONSTITUTION:The output signal of TV camera 1 is inputted to the light transmitter 2 and light is projected to the car 5 moving to the projector 2. The car 5 is provided with the receiver 3 which receives the incident light from the transmitter 2 modulated with the output signal of TV camera 1. The distance information from the distance measuring unit 7 to the car 5 is fed to the light transmitter 2. When the car 5 is at 5' a half of the projective angle 2f being the position shown in Figure, it is 2f' which doubles 2f and when the position 5'' being 1/4, 2f'' which is 4 times 2f, allowing to control the projective angle of the light transmitter 2 taking the distance information as a variable. |

PURPOSE:To secure the application for the common optical transmission and receiver to many control subjects by providing the light radiation directivity to the optical transmitter and then securing a selective control for the control subject unit. CONSTITUTION:Optical transmitter 1 is constituted so as to deliver the visible light signal featuring the sharp light radiation directivity. And with this transmitter 1, the reception part of optical receiver 2 provided to sockets 4 and 4' is irradiated. The control information sent from transmitter 1 is received at receiver 2 and then decoded by the decoder provided at receiver 2, and thus gate 3 is controlled along with the selective control given to load 5. In case the control is given to other load 5', the light irradiation direction of transmitter 1 is changed toward socket 4'. And load 5' is controlled by gate 3'. In such way, many control subjects can be controlled via common transmitter 1 and receiver 2. |
