PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly mount a module to a socket by a plurality of terminals constituting a connecter with a removing portion for removing any foreign matter adhering to the jointer of the socket. SOLUTION: A socket 51 to be mounted onto a printed board is provided with a plurality of jointers 52, 53 one-to-one corresponding to a plurality of terminals 6a, 6b constituting a connecter. When a memory module 1 is plugged into the socket 51, an end surface of a board 2 of the memory module 1 may break, an insulating material 30 such as a burr may be generated, and the broken material 30 may adhere to the jointer 52. When the memory module 1 is plugged into the socket 51 in this state, the broken material 30 is caught in a recessed part formed by a notch portion 8a provided for the terminal 6a, and is removed from the jointer 52. When the broken material 30 adheres to the jointer 53, similarly, the broken material 30 is removed from the jointer 53 by a notch portion 8b provided for the terminal 6b.

PURPOSE: To clean solder flux attached to an electric connector and a circuit pack containing the electric connector without giving bad influence on the environment by applying a first solvent containing monobasic ester, then applying a second solvent containing isoparaffin hydrocarbon to remove the first solvent. CONSTITUTION: Compressed air is sprayed to a socket type connector 12 and a connector housing 13 for constituting a circuit pack 10 to remove dust and other contaminations. In order to remove remaining flux from a housing 13, the circuit pack 10 is immersed in a monobasic ester bath at room temperature for 30-60 seconds with stirred. The ester is suitable as the solvent with low toxicity and high flash point. The air is splayed again to remove the ester, and in order to remove the remaining ester in the housing 13, the circuit pack 10 is immersed in a synthetic high purity isoparaffin hydrocarbon bath. These treatments are repeated twice to remove the ester and paraffin.

During the operation of an electric machine, brush dust is generated as a result of frictional wear of the brushes (5, 50). The brush dust is deposited in undesired locations of the electric machine and causes sparkovers or increased frictional resistance. In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, the invention provides for a brush dust collecting device (41) comprising a dust collecting head (6, 13, 21, 42) mounted in direct proximity to the slip ring (1, 11, 23, 52).
58 SLOTTED, CLAMPED TERMINATION RING FOR AN ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY EP16833486.0 2016-07-10 EP3332455A1 2018-06-13 VILLASENOR, Pedro, L.; PLESSAS, James, G.; TAYLOR, Zachary, W.
A termination ring for an electrical connector has slots for receiving multiple inner conductive shields of a cable. The shields pass through the slots, are folded back onto a rear portion of the termination ring, and are clamped onto the termination ring. After assembling a backshell onto the connector over the termination ring, a void remains between the interior surface of the backshell and the clamped inner conductive shields, thereby enabling proper mechanical engagement of the connector, termination ring, and backshell.
