PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve a problem that there is a demand for a self-adjustment contactor structure compensating a height, to a contactor array having at least two parallel-arranged contactor pairs in a switch element.SOLUTION: A contact arrangement for a high output switching element has at least two pairs of circular contactors so that each contactor pair has convex/flat surfaces or convex/convex surfaces. These are connected mechanically and electrically in parallel in a circuit. A central concave part having a diameter that is about one-fifth of the whole diameter of a contact surface of the contactor at the maximum, is provided to a contact surface of at least one pair of contactors of the contactor pairs. However, in a contactor pair having convex/concave surfaces or flat/concave surfaces, a projection is arranged at a central part of a concave contact surface of a contactor partner, and a diameter of the projection is about one-fifth of the whole diameter of the contact surface of the contactor at the maximum.

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic relay disusing braided wires for securing a current capacity of a main contact device. <P>SOLUTION: A main contact device 2A and an arc contact device 3A are connected in parallel and are inserted into a power-feeding channel to a load. A sub contact device 4 is electrically independent of the main contact device 2A and the arc contact device 3A. The main contact device 2A is provided with a main fixed contact 27 fixed to a unit body 1 and a main contact spring 23 made of a leaf spring to which a main movable contact 25 coming in and out of contact with the main contact 27 is firmly fixed. Further, the arc contact device 3A and the sub contact device 4 are arrayed in adjacent zones in the unit body 1. The main contact spring 23 is extended along a direction in which the arc contact device 3A and the sub contact device 4 are arrayed. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a tulip contact. SOLUTION: This invention relates to a tulip contact device suitable for holding a pin-like engaging contact. This device has finger contacts 29 that are arranged in a direction along its circumference; a cylinder 26 is formed integrally with an annular ring 24; in the cylinder 26, parts forming the finger contacts 29 are placed in between axial slots 27, 28. A ring 30 slotted corresponding to the slot 27, 28 is integrally formed at the opposite side to the annular ring 24 of the cylinder 26; the cross-sectional shape of the ring 30 is golf club- like as well as that of the cylinder 26. The axial free end of the ring 30 has an annular surface 32 on which a member 33 made of a corrosive resistant material is installed.
