101 SWITCH FOR PREVENTING INRUSH CURRENT SHOCK AND CUTTING OFF STANDBY POWER EP11812775.2 2011-07-28 EP2600374B1 2018-10-17 Kim, Byeongho
The present invention is provided with a delay unit for applying a function of a double-pole contact switch and a control function of an activation switch, so as for the contact switch and the activation switch not to operate simultaneously when turned on. Accordingly, when a predetermined time elapses after the double-pole contact switch operates first to prevent an inrush current shock, the activation switch generates a control signal to safely operate an internal circuit such as a central processing device or a control device, so that an electronic product is turned on without an electrical shock or a significant spark. Moreover, if power is cut off by software or the internal circuit is turned off in response to a control signal of the activation switch after an ON button of the electronic product is pressed, the double-pole contact switch is automatically turned off immediately or over a time interval, so that standby power is cut off completely, safely, conveniently, and effectively.

An electric power generation control system for a vehicle, which enables generation of electric power by a generator as much as possible while preventing an electrical component from being overheated by power generation by the generator. The electric power generation control system selectively switches a mode of the generator between first and second modes in which an instruction voltage is higher and not higher than an allowable voltage of a wire harness, respectively. A counter value is counted up in the first mode and down in the second mode. When the counter value has reached a higher limit value, the first mode is inhibited and the power generation mode is set to the second mode. This increase the proportion of an execution time period of the first, and accordingly, when a possibility of overheating the wire harness becomes high, the instruction voltage is lowered.

108 Electrical actuator with means for preventing dither at a limit switch EP92302809.6 1992-03-31 EP0507538A2 1992-10-07 Nelson, Marvin D.

The tendency of a motor-driven actuator 1 driving against a dynamic (non-frictional) load to return upon reaching the limit switch 22 sufficiently to again close the limit switch and create a persistent oscillation at the limit position can be prevented by placing a positive temperature coefficient thermistor across the limit switch involved. Such loads typically arise in actuators having spring-driven return capability, and can also arise when positioning air dampers and other loads where the actuator force is opposed by a spring or gravity.

109 Closing delay arrangement for current limiting circuit breaker contacts EP86101066.8 1986-01-27 EP0189887B1 1992-01-08 Banfi, Claudio
110 Closing delay arrangement for current limiting circuit breaker contacts EP86101066.8 1986-01-27 EP0189887A3 1989-04-05 Banfi, Claudio

A control arrangement to prevent or delay the closing of current limiting circuit breaker contacts after opening by repulsion due to a short circuit is disclosed. A first contact arm (10) and a second contact arm (12) are operatively associated with a ratchet (38) for locking the second contact arm (12). A release lever (62) operatable by the first contact arm (10) and the breaker operating mechanism releases the ratchet (38) after a delay period greater than the duration of the short circuit or the operating time of the breaker operating mechanism.
