A gas circuit breaker having a shunt capacitor which miniaturizes a manipulation tool and shows the high reliability with simple composition is provided. A circuit breaker unit is installed in a sealed container (1) to which insulating gas is sealed. The circuit breaker unit comprises a stator unit and a mover unit. A high-voltage conductor (8) is connected to the mover unit and an insulation rod in a circuit breaker side (21) which drives the mover in the circuit breaker is connected to a mover (31) which comprises a motorized actuator (32) within a manipulator case (61). A shut capacitor (40) is electrically connected to the circuit breaker unit in parallel within the sealed container (1). A movable contact point (42) is electrically connected to the shunt capacitor (40) and the movable contact point (42) is connected to an insulation rod (44) in a capacitor side. The insulation rod in a circuit breaker side (21) or the mover (31) has a latch unit (46) within the manipulator case (61). The insulation rod (44) in the capacitor side has a latched unit (43) in a side farther from the circuit breaker unit than the latch unit (46) within the manipulator case (61), and connects the latched unit (43) to the sealed container (1) with an insertion spring (45).

PURPOSE: A gas insulated switchgear is provided to stably connect two lines using two conductors having inclination. CONSTITUTION: A supporting frame is formed with an insulator which comprises screws and first and second fixed conductors(120,130). The first fixed conductor can be arranged at one side of the supporting frame. The first fixed conductor forms a groove in one end thereof and is electrically connected with a first movable contact. The second fixed conductor can be arranged in the other side of the supporting frame while facing the first fixed conductor. The second fixed conductor can be electrically connected with a second movable contact(170). The screw can be arranged to be separated from the first and second fixed conductors. The screw passes through first and second movable members(180,190) and can form a shaft(600) which is parallel to the first and second fixed conductors.
