150 Disconnector switch JP2006029530 2006-02-07 JP2006222081A 2006-08-24 ARCAND SEBASTIEN; COTE SEBASTIEN
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-phase non-dissociating disconnector switch which is durable to a large current conduction. SOLUTION: Each finger includes an inside front surface having a first upheaval surface part and a second upheaval surface part. The first upheaval surface part has a first flat surface zone part 106. This flat surface zone part is brought into contact with the head part 72 of the second end part of a switch blade or the finger end 60 which can be removed actually. The second upheaval surface part of the finger has a second flat front surface zone part 108 engaged with the second blade-like connector part 28 of the second terminal. The upheaval surface part and each flat front surface zone part 108 increase the front surface contact area between the finger and the blade member 50 and between the finger and the second blade-like connector part 28 of the second electric terminal. This improves the capability to raise the rated current of the switch and to bear a short circuit. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI

154 Air break electrical switch having a blade toggle mechanism US14818285 2015-08-04 US09991072B2 2018-06-05 David A. Rhein
An electrical switch includes a pivotally supported blade, a toggle mechanism, and an operating mechanism. The operating mechanism is drivable in a first direction to pivot the blade about a first axis and toward a closed blade position. When pivoting toward the closed blade position, the toggle mechanism inhibits the blade from pivoting about a second axis. Upon reaching the closed blade position, continued motion of the operating mechanism in the first direction causes the toggle mechanism to pivot the blade about the second axis toward a closed contact position. In the closed contact position, the blade contacts at least one blade contact to electrically connect the blade and a first electrical terminal.

The invention relates to a conductor (2) for electrical equipment, the conductor comprising at least one hollow section member (2) of electrically conductive material that is elongate along a longitudinal axis (Y), the conductor having an outside surface in which at least a portion forms corrugations (23, 24) in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The conductor may advantageously form a movable contact (blade) (2) of a high voltage disconnector.
156 High Voltage Disconnection Telescopic Switch Insulated by Air With a Moving Contact with Pressure Supply US15529889 2015-11-26 US20170263396A1 2017-09-14 Mikhail Sotnikov

157 High voltage vertical break disconnect switch with blade position detector and rollover indicator US15068716 2016-03-14 US09666393B1 2017-05-30 Peter M. Kowalik; Steven A. Cleaveland; Joseph K. Andreyo
A blade position detector and rollover indicator is operatively attached to an elongated movable switch-blade assembly of a horizontally mounted high voltage vertical break disconnect switch. The blade position detector and rollover indicator is gravity responsive and attached in predetermined position to the elongated disconnect blade assembly that reacts when the proper angle of closure of the blade is obtained in an intermediated closed switch position and finally when the proper angle of blade rollover is obtained in a fully closed switch position to provide a visual indication of full closure of the disconnect switch.

160 Linear actuating earthing switch US13526897 2012-06-19 US08748760B2 2014-06-10 David Miller
A linear actuating earthing switch configuration that moves movable contacts using linear motion in a single axis. The earthing switch includes a frame with a rail on a slide wall. A sliding carriage slides on the rail in a linear direction, the sliding carriage including a plurality of movable contacts. A spring surrounding a linear shaft provides a linear expansion force between the frame and the sliding carriage when the earthing switch is in an open position.
