An overload protection switch includes a main body and a press button. Several terminals, a conductive plate and other components are arranged in the main body. By means of switching the press button, the switch is switchable between an on state and an off state. In case of overload, the conductive plate will separate from one of the terminals to switch off the switch. The components arranged in the main body will not hinder the conductive plate from separating from the terminal. When switching on the switch, the conductive plate resiliently contacts the terminal. In case of overload, the conductive plate separates from the terminal to switch off the switch so as to provide overload protection effect.

An electric switch, and particularly a rocker switch, is proposed which is constructed as a monostable rocker switch. To achieve a resetting effect of the operating rocker (8) into the respective starting position, an elastic element (13) is provided between operating rocker (8) and switch housing (3), which becomes elastically deformed during the operation of the switch. After the load has been removed from the operating rocker (8), the elastic element (13) presses the operating rocker (8) back into its starting position.

An electrical switch has a housing, and means is adapted to be selectively movable in the housing for operating the electrical switch. Means having a deflected portion therein is engaged between the housing and the operating means for yielding generally as a collapsible column to oppose the selective movement of the operating means.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic reset switch capable of giving click touch to a user even without a click mechanism when an operation knob is operated to a second operation position.
SOLUTION: The operation knob is supported through a first pivot 15 to a switch base 3, and a movable contact point holder 6 holding a movable contact point is supported through a second pivot 16 to the switch base 3. A sliding face 28 is formed on first and second arm parts 6a, 6b of the movable contact point holder 6, a control plunger 31 sliding the sliding face 28 is inserted and coupled with free sliding to the operation knob, and it is biased to a contact direction with the sliding face 28 by a return spring 32. When the operation knob swings to a first, a second operation positions A, B, the control plunger 31 moves to the sliding face 28 of both right and left sides using a flat face P connecting between both pivot lines of the first, the second pivots 15, 16 as a boundary, and also, the control plunger 31 is arranged so that repulsive force of the return spring 32 always biases the operation knob on the first operation position A side.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
