The invention relates to an optically pumped semiconductor laser device comprising a surface-emitting vertical emission region (1) and at least one monolithically integrated pump radiation source (2) for optically pumping the vertical emission region (1). Said semiconductor device is characterised in that the pump radiation enters the vertical emission region (1) in the form of partial radiation bundles with different radiation directions, such that the pump radiation overlaps with the basic mode of the vertical emission region (1) suitable for the excitation of the basic mode. The invention is based on the fact that preferably the basic mode of the vertical emission region (1) is excited when the spatial intensity distribution of the pump radiation is adapted to the profile of the basic mode.

57 Self-aligning actuator for door-operated switch US13331603 2011-12-20 US08908357B2 2014-12-09 Joseph Michael Manahan
An actuator system for operating a switch is described herein. The actuator system can include a shaft of a handle assembly. The shaft couples to a handle and a male coupling element and has a number of positions. Further, a coupling body of a switch assembly can be positioned in the number of positions. The coupling body engages the switch and has a female coupling element, which has a slotted portion that receives the male coupling element and an angled terminus that aligns the shaft to a first position as the shaft couples to the coupling body. The slotted portion receives and engages the male coupling element when the shaft is coupled to the coupling body. The slotted portion prevents the male coupling element from disengaging when the coupling body is in a second position, and disengages the male coupling element when the coupling body is in the first position.

60 Key Unit with Support Frame US11579519 2005-03-16 US20080283375A1 2008-11-20 Yuichi Iohara
The object of the present invention is to utilize a reinforcing plate formed out of a hard resin or a metal introduced into a key unit in order to overcome the weak point such that the conventional rubber keypads are too soft and lack shape stability, as a functional design element of equipment including a key unit into which the plate is incorporated. A support frame 4a for surrounding and supporting key groups arrayed on a key-operating surface of a key unit 1 in a manner such as a picture frame is formed by processing the outer edge of a reinforcing plate 4, and the key unit can be installed to mobile equipment directly from the outside of casing through the support frame, for example, by fitting the support frame 4a into an opening provided on the casing of the mobile equipment into which the key unit should be incorporated. As a material for a hard resin reinforcing plate, there are used PC (polycarbonate resin), PET (polyethylene terephthalate resin), PMMA (polymethylmethacrylate/acrylate resin), and a mixture thereof. As a material for a metal reinforcing plate 4, there can be used various metals such as magnesium, aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, copper, gold, etc., and an alloy thereof. For a decoration to the support frame or the exposed part of the reinforcing plate, there are used printing, painting, or various film-forming methods with a metal or a nonmetal.
