83 Key input device JP1018483 1983-01-24 JPS59135536A 1984-08-03 KOMAKI SHIGEKI
PURPOSE: To reduce the load of key operation by forming slits at both sides of a key electrode and providing the pressure-sensitive conduction rubber under the electrode. CONSTITUTION: When a key symbol of a decorative panel 1 is pushed, a comb- tooth electrode of the corresponding flexible substrate 2 moves down to compress the pressure-sensitive conduction rubber 3 provided right under the electrode. Thus the rubber 3 conducts electrically, and the short-circuit is applied between the comb-tooth electrodes to obtain a key input signal. The key operation load is decided just by the flexibility of both panel 1 and substrate 2. The slits 2-2 are formed at both sides of a comb-tooth electrode 2-1 to facilitate bending of the substrate 2. This device further reduces the key operation load. COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio

PURPOSE: To absorb the recesses/projections and size variance of each electronic parts and at the same time to set upper and lower covers in parallel to each other with an even space, by providing an adhesive layer between the structure of electronic parts and the lower cover. CONSTITUTION: An electronic parts structure 1 is constitited by combining a wiring base board 11, an IC element 12, electronic parts 13, a display panel 14 and a solar battery. An upper cover 2 is obtained by laminating up and down an upper surface protecting sheet 18, a contact sheet 16, a spacer 17 and a frame body 19; while a lower cover 3 is obtained by laminating up and down a support sheet 20 (stainless sheet of 100μ thickness) and a lower surface protecting sheet 21 (transparent polyfilm of 25μ thickness). The cover 2 is adhered close to the upper side of the structure 1 with an adhesive layer 4 (insulated adhesive 22) is provided to the lower side of the structure 1. Then the cover 3 is adhered close to the lower side of the layer 4. Thus a sheet type matter is obtained with a small thickness as a whole. COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio

88 Method of producing keyboard switch JP3119880 1980-03-11 JPS56128523A 1981-10-08 ASADA TAKAFUMI; SHINOHARA KAZUYOSHI; KIYOHARA KANJI; SAKAIRI TADASHI
A method of making a keyboard including, a number of switch keys fixedly provided on one surface of a resilient plastic sheet a number of moving contacts formed on the other surface of the resilient plastic sheet. The keys are formed of a plastic material having a melting temperature lower than that of the resilient plastic sheet. Thermoplastic bond layers are deposited on both surfaces of the resilient plastic sheet. The melting point of the thermoplastic bond layers is lower than that of the switch keys. The resilient plastic sheet is placed in a metal mold which has cavities (101a) at predetermined places. Melted plastic material is injected into the cavities to form the switch keys and at the same time cause the portions of thermoplastic bond layers which contact the injected melted plastic to be melted by the heat of the injected melted plastic material and to bond the switch keys onto the resilient plastic sheet.
