167 Illumination key JP22951698 1998-07-31 JPH11167835A 1999-06-22 KENMOCHI YOSHIO
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination key wherein a pattern such as a character can be surely recognized even though an upper surface of a key top obliquely tilted or is curved, and hardness of a resin of the key top part is made use of, as well as click feeling and an elastic characteristic of rubber of a key operating part are made use of, also the key operating part is certainly bonded to the key top. SOLUTION: This lighting key is constituted by forming a light reflex film 4a of a partially translucent of white, etc., type on the surface except the back of a translucent resin key top 2, and forming a layer 4 printed with a pattern such as a character, etc., on the surface of the partially translucent light reflex film 4a, further covering the upper surface except the patterned portion and side of the key top 2 by a light shielding film 4c, then forming a transparent protective coating 5 on the upper surface and the side of the light shielding film 4c. The back of the key top 2 is formed wider than the upper surface of a key operating part 1a made of translucent or thermoplastic elastomer, thus the upper surface of the key operation part 1a is bonded to the backside of the key top 2 through a translucent adhesive 3.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable contact body used for operations of various electronic equipments and a switch using the same, which achieve various kinds of illumination with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: A movable contact 3 has a nearly domed shape and is made of a conductive thin-metal-plate. The movable contact is stuck onto the lower face of a light-transmitting sheet 11. A phosphor layer 13 is formed on the upper face or on the lower face of the sheet 11 above the movable contact 3. Accordingly, it allows illumination with various luminescent colors different from the light of a light-emitting device 17, thereby obtaining a movable contact body 15 and a switch using the same, which achieve various kinds of illumination with a simple configuration.
