42 | Multiple contact layer membrane switch | EP85303786 | 1985-05-30 | EP0164958A3 | 1986-04-02 | Latasiewicz, Leonard |
A membrane switch is provided having at least two surfaces having contact members (15, 16 or 24) thereon. Such contact members can be applied to different layers (14 and 22) of the switch assembly or to both the top and bottom surfaces of the same layer (14) of the switch assembly. Certain of the contact members of the different surfaces are in registration with each other and are of such a configuration to permit the combined contact of such members with a base layer (34). |

44 | Momentary digital encoding device for keyboards | EP83106373 | 1983-06-30 | EP0098531A3 | 1984-03-21 | Rooney, Craig E. |
An improved, low cost, high speed keyboard encoding device is provided which develops directly encoded, valid and reliable multi-bit output signals and overcomes problems associated with tolerance errors and adverse environmental and usage conditions (e.g., manufacturing errors, dust, wear). The preferred encoding device includes a plurality of juxtaposed, flexible conductive strands or wires each having a number of axially spaced impact zones along the length thereof which are either insulated or electrically conductive; corresponding zones on the separate wires are operably aligned to cooperatively define a series of spaced impact zone sets each made up of a unique pattern of conductive and insulated zones. An electrically conductive, rubber-like resilient pad having a series of ridge-like elongated members respectively aligned with corre- sponding impact zone sets is also provided which is designed for impact-shifting of the members into momentary contact with the associated zone sets, whereby electrical contact is made between the ridge members and the conductive impact zones of the set. The resulting circuit making and current flow directly generates a momentary, unique, digitalized output signal without the need for conventional encoding electronic circuitry. The device is particularly suited for use in an impact-type keyboard where, upon depression of each key, an associated resilient element is shifted, released, and allowed to overtravel its rest position and momentarily strike the encoding device at a location for shifting the appropriate pad ridge into contact with the adjacent impact zone set. |

45 | MOVABLE CONTACT ASSEMBLY FOR CIRCUIT BREAKER | EP18165469.0 | 2018-04-03 | EP3389075A1 | 2018-10-17 | SEO, Min-Kyu |
Disclosed herein is a movable contact assembly for a circuit breaker, and more particularly, a movable contact assembly for a circuit breaker in which a pressurizing protrusion for pushing a catch is provided at each of movable contact fingers and thus, when current limiting interruption occurs in any one of the movable contact fingers, reinputting of the movable contact fingers is prevented such that blocking thereof is stably kept. According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a movable contact assembly for a circuit breaker, which includes a fixed contact, a connector formed to protrude from one side of a terminal connected to a load or a power source, a plurality of movable contacts pivotably installed at the connector through a connector pin and configured to be contactable to or separable from the fixed contact, a side holder pivotably installed at the connector through the connector pin, a catch pivotably installed at the connector, supported on the side holder, and configured to restrict a rebound phenomenon of the plurality of movable contacts when current limiting interruption occurs, and a pressurizing protrusion formed at a lower portion of each of the plurality of movable contacts and configured to push the catch when the current limiting interruption occurs. |
