The invention provides a recording tape attaching method and a recording tape attaching apparatus for accurately attaching a recording tape to a reel hub. In the method and the apparatus for winding a recording tape around a hub of a reel, a hub is contacted with a recording tape retained by suction by a retaining member and rotated, thereby generating static electricity, and the recording tape is attached to the hub by attracting the recording tape to the hub by the generated static electricity.

5 | Disk shield for optical disks designed to protect DVDs and video game disks | US10306953 | 2002-11-29 | US20040205805A1 | 2004-10-14 | Steven Peter Lobisser |
This invention pertains to protection and preservation of optical disks. This includes but is not limited to DVDs music CDs and video game disks. It is designed to be used as a protector of the surface of said disk, which is used for recording and/or playback. It will adhere to and lay flat on the optical disk and be transparent to the playback/recording device. It will serve as a nullskinnull to the disk to prevent damage rendering the disk useless.

A multitrack recorder can allocate an input source in a simple manner without regard to whether a track is a monaural type or a stereo type. The multitrack recorder can set tracks 3 and 4, among a plurality of tracks 1 through 4, to either a monaural type or a stereotype. Track types are stored in memory. On occasion of allocation of an input source to each of the tracks, available input source alternatives are displayed in a display section while being changed according to whether the track is a monaural type or a stereo type.

9 | Format and method for recording optimization | US176162 | 1993-12-29 | US5485321A | 1996-01-16 | Michael L. Leonhardt; Charles A. Milligan |
A performance optimized computer data recording media format and associated control logic method is disclosed. Localized data block recording, such as by concurrent parallel or serpentine recording techniques, is used to create a series of Virtual Volumes on a single physical volume. Physical localization of data blocks records is achieved which tends to minimize access time. Using the Virtual Volume construct, other industry standard data storage systems can be emulated. Many data storage operations requesting physical motion are translated into virtual motion which in turn results in significantly less physical motion than that requested, thereby reducing access times and media and drive apparatus wear.

An information record has a body of photographic film, paper, plastics material or the like, in which digital information is carried on a body in equal-radii, arcuate rows which extend across the body. The information may be stored as dark spots, light spots or dark-to-light or light-to-dark transitions with respect to transparent substances and in reflective areas, non-reflective areas or reflective-to-non-reflective or non-reflective-to-reflective transitions.

PURPOSE:To enable everybody to enjoy a duet (or a chorus) by playing with stress a low-pitched sound part of a desired duet bar with a musical instrument of a recorded orchestral accompaniment and at the same time suppressing the sound volume for a melody and other sound part for recording. CONSTITUTION:For instance, an accompaniment is recorded like a conventional recorded orchestral accompaniment play for the vocal solo part of the 1st and 2nd stages, and the low-pitched sond part of a duet of the 3rd stage is played with a large sound volume by a single musical instrument. While other sound parts, i.e., the accompaniment is recorded in a small sound volume. This sound volume is controlled by the sound volume controller of a sound recorder. Sound controller is attached to each musical instrument of an orchestra to control the sound volume. In such a way, a desired low-pitched sound part is emphasized, and therefore the low-pitched sound part is played repetitively together with a reproduced accompaniment. Thus is it possible easily to enjoy a duet with an ordinary accompaniment play after learning the desired low-pitched sound part.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily allocate an input source regardless of whether to be a monaural track or a stereo track in a multi-track recorder.SOLUTION: A multi-track recorder can set tracks 3 and 4 among a plurality of tracks 1 to 4 in any track type between a monaural track and a stereo track. A track type is stored in a memory, and when an input source is allocated for each track, an alternative of a possible input source is changed between the monaural track and the stereo track and displayed in a display part 24.
