| <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hang-type assisting device for holding a classical guitar, which is particularly friendly in use to a beginners and children, and with which the user can hold the guitar under the user's arm, without having to use his hand. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of flexible suckers are mounted on a transparent fleshy vinyl chloride sheet, formed into a fan-like shape so that a base for strengthening the suction force is formed. The base is force applied and fixed on the backside of a guitar, and the mouth ring of the head of the unified suckers is pulled by a string necktie so that the user can hold the guitar under the user's arm, in front of his body. This arrangement enables the user to concentrate both the user's hands on the playing at comfortable posture and allows him to practice playing the guitar, in an enjoyable manner without becoming tired. The composition of the flexible materials and the fan-like outer edge of the base can prevent damages to the instrument, which would otherwise have been caused by the scraping of the instrument and the string.
