41 Calendar US11890917 2007-08-07 US07516568B2 2009-04-14 Paul Wightman
A calendar is formed of a plurality of substrates. A first substrate carries indicia thereon which identifies selected time periods, such as days or months of the year. A second substrate is positioned adjacent to the first substrate. The second substrate defines a plurality of cavities dimensioned to individually retain a respective information carrying article, such as a web. Each of the cavities is corresponding supplied with a respective information carrying article. Each indicia on the first substrate is positionally associated with a respective cavity in the second substrate. A third substrate, positioned adjacent to the second substrate, is positioned to retain the information carrying articles releasably within the second substrate. The third substrate provides a rupturable cover over each of the cavities of the second substrate whereby upon the application of a sufficient lateral force on the information carrying article within a selected cavity, the article passes through the cover to a location wherein the article may be retrieved by the user. The lateral force may be applied by the user's finger or alternatively a tool or other object adapted for the application of such force.

A frame system for holding a normally flat picture and bending it into a concavo-convex shape for adding a three dimensional effect and/or eye movement effect to its display. This concavo-convex shape can be created by either urging the picture toward a pre-curved transparent plate or placing the picture in a pre-curved holder. In this frame system an arch-shaped void space is provided for housing a complementary three dimensional article and/or reinforced picture supported by magnetic means. A top edge glass and bottom edge glass are placed in the present frame system perpendicular to the pre-curved transparent plate. A top edge picture sheet and bottom edge picture sheet can be displayed through said top edge glass and bottom edge glass, respectively, for complementing the main picture on display, and for creating a 3D feeling toward the main picture in the mind of the viewer. Pre-curved backing plate with adhesive and pre-curved mat sheet provide 3D space needed for the display of fabric art, relief arts or any 3D object in the present frame system.
57 Perpetual recording calendar US410961 1995-03-27 US5655319A 1997-08-12 George W. LeCompte
A perpetual calendar 1 which is set by folding back portions at the right and left sides of a month panel 2. Day-of-the-week designators 7 appear on a separate heading panel 3 above the seven displayed columns of date boxes 9. The user makes event entries 8 in the date box 9 marked with the appropriate date number 10. The date for each, month has thirteen columns of date boxes 9 marked with a redundantly extended array of date numbers 10. Date numbers 10 on each month panel 2 begin at the top of the middle column. The month panel 2 is folded back on scored lines between the columns so that only the appropriate seven columns are displayed. Hidden behind the heading panel 3 are year number markings 21 indicating the creases for each year. The month panel 2 for each month is identified by a month label 18 placed at the bottom of the center column so as to always be displayed. Because of redundancy in the date number array, event entries 8 must be duplicated unless they fall in the center column.
58 Method of a means for generating a children's weekly interactive scrolling calendar apparatus US439433 1995-05-11 US5577917A 1996-11-26 Susan E. Mock
The means for generating a children's weekly interactive scrolling calendar apparatus comprises the use a wall mounted unit that has two vertical spindles mounted on a solid frame made of wood or the like. The spindle contain a roll of paper that is scrolled from one spindle to the other spindle and, at the same time, keeps the paper flat at all times by passing below retaining pieces at each end of the open central area of the apparatus. A sliding guide and indentation markings allows the children to set up a seven day week and record their activities throughout the week and then scroll up the week after it has been concluded. A new week is then prepared. The calendar can then be unrolled at the end of the semester or year and the activities can be reviewed. The apparatus can be replaceably attached to a wall. A method of generating the children's weekly interactive scrolling calendar is also disclosed.
