PURPOSE:To control and diagnose walking states by collectively recording the walking states of walkers at a distance by making each walker carry a transmitter connected to a pedometer, by receiving a signal from the transmitter by a receiver and by recording it on a recorder. CONSTITUTION:A walker carries a transmitter 1 connected to a pedometer with him and a signal from the transmitting antenna 2 of the transmitter 1 is received by the receiving antenna 3 of a receiver 4, whose output is applied to a recorder 5 to record his walking state on the beltlike paper 5a in the recorder 4 with a pen 5b. A step-number detection part is built in this transmitter 1, and while a pendulum 6 is equipped on the fulurun 7 of the detection part, a magnet 8 is also provided atop of the pendulum 6 to make the magnet 8 oscillate vertically every time the walker takes one step. An electric signal generated by a coil 10 is transmitted as a radio wave from the antenna 2 and then received by the receiver 4 to exercise remote centralized control over the walking states of walkers.
7 | THREADED MEMBER TIGHTENING TOOL AND COUNTING APPARATUS | US15880703 | 2018-01-26 | US20180185993A1 | 2018-07-05 | Hirokazu HITA; Kenji OTUKA |
Provided is a threaded member tightening tool capable of returning a count value in linkage with reverse driving by the threaded member tightening tool and only when a threaded member to be removed by the reverse driving has been counted as a tightened threaded member. A computing unit of a motor-driven screwdriver is switchable between a counting mode in which the computing unit counts the number of tightened threaded members and holds the counted number as a count value and a count return mode for returning the count value to a one-preceding count value. The computing unit returns the count value to a one-preceding count value based on the fact that the engaging element fitting unit has been driven in the reverse direction when the computing unit has been switched to the count return mode.

The invention relates to hand pliers (1) which are in particular embodied as crimping pliers. According to the invention, the hand pliers (1) comprise a counting device (16) which counts the number passed working strokes (17). The counting device (16) is built with a sensor which senses the distance or displacement of two components moved relatively to each other over the working stroke (17), in particular the distance or displacement of hand levers (2, 3).If the count number registered by the counting device (16) exceeds a threshold value, it is possible to produce a display at a displaying device of the hand pliers (1) which indicates that an exchange of drive elements or an exchange of dies or a certification of the hand pliers is required.
9 | Gas well flow instrumentation | US161429 | 1988-02-24 | US4799169A | 1989-01-17 | Charles R. Mims |
Gas well flow instrumentation includes a computation unit and an interrogation unit. The computation unit measures parameters of gas flow at the well head and accumulates gas flow information over a plurality of different independent time intervals. The interrogation unit selectively accesses the stored information and makes a permanent record of the information. The interrogation unit also is used to calibrate the computation unit and to perform a number of other different functions. The interrogation unit includes an integral printer which documents the flow information for subsequent proof of acutal gas flow.
10 | Remote meter-reader device for gas meters, and the like | US781670 | 1985-09-30 | US4688038A | 1987-08-18 | Victor Giammarese |
A device for allowing the remote-reading of a utility meter having circular dials. The device includes an array of phototransistors for each circular dial of the utility meter. The face of the dial is illuminated selectively, when the reading of the dial is desired, by a light-emitting-diode at the center of the array of phototransistors. The phototransistor which is shaded by the pointer of the dial, which transistor indicates the highest value of the reading for thoses transistors shaded by the pointer, developes a signal indicative of that reading, which is outputted to a logic circuit for the development of the signal into a usable form for generating the value at a remote display device mounted on the outside of the building. Alternatively, the output from the logic circuit may be sent over a telephone transmission line to a remote computer-center for storage and retrieval, for billing customers.

A remote meter display unit is connected to a meter index through a magnetically actuated single pole double throw switch cooperating with a magnet mounted on an index pointer shaft. The remote display unit is configured to increment a counter whenever the switch toggles. If the switch or any of the wires connected thereto are disconnected or shorted, the display is reset and maintained at zero. A portable reset/preset unit mates with the remote display unit and includes switches for resetting the remote unit and entering any desired number into the display.

13 | Electrical readout for counters | US3624362D | 1969-10-10 | US3624362A | 1971-11-30 | KELCH HEINZ |
An arrangement for reading out through electrically coded signals, counter registrations and indications. A common shaft within a supporting frame of a unit holds a plurality of electrical contact discs which are rotatably mounted on the shaft. The counter to be read out electrically is provided with individual rotatable drums connected to the electrical contact discs so that these are rotated in correspondence with the drums when the frame is detachably mounted on the supporting means of the counter. Through the application of contact blades supported on a contact carrier block within the frame member, the counter indications are read out through digitally coded electrical signals. The counter can be used in conjunction with a printout mechanism through which printout is realized in a uniquely defined numerical order.
