A control linkage comprises a control lever mounted for pivotal movement and means to pivot the control lever. A slide member is constrained to slide along the control lever and means are provided to control the movement of the slide member along the control lever. A pivotally mounted output lever is connected to the slide member by a link pivotally connected to the output member. The control linkage is especially designed for controlling a hydraulic power system on a vehicle, for example a vehicle for loading aircraft.

A safety grip for powered implements of the hand-controlled type and including a horizontally disposed hand grip and two levers connected therewith and pivoted on a horizontal axis and extending above the hand grip. The weight of the operator''s hand and arm are then placed downwardly onto either or both of the levers to pivot the levers into closed position relative to the hand grip, and the operator need not squeeze the levers and hand grip together to achieve the closed position. One of the levers can control the engagement of the traction for the implement and the other lever may control the working portion of the implement, and the two levers are pivotally attached to the implement''s handle and are movable both separately and also together.

An articulated handle comprises first, second and third arms pivotally attached together with each arm operatively connected to a respective directional control valve. The handle and first and second control valves, operatively connected to the first and second arms, are mounted on a tractor whereas a solenoid actuated third control valve is mounted on the frame of a bulldozer assembly. A pair of lift cylinders, interconnected between the tractor and frame, are operatively connected to the first control valve whereas tilt and angle cylinders, interconnected between the frame and a bulldozer blade, are operatively connected to the third control valve.

Two input members and two concentric rotatable output members are interconnected by a planetary gear arrangement. The first input drives directly the first output. The second input engages a carrier having the planetary gears affixed thereto. Rotation of the carriage causes rotation of the central sun gear of the planetary gear system. The sun gear is journaled to the carriage and is drivingly connected to the second output through a direction reversing set of bevel gears. The first input drive member includes a ring gear drivingly connected to the planetary gears for driving the second output member in the same direction and by the same amount as the first output member. Motion of the first input results in equal motion of the two outputs while input motion of the second input results in movement of the second output relative to the first output. This device is useful where non-interacting two-axis control of remote gimbaled systems is required.
