Disclosed herein is a stabilizing shooting rest that includes a base attachable to the belt of a wearer. The stabilizing shooting rest further includes a telescopic elongated member having a proximate end attached to the base and extending to a distal end, the telescopic elongated member attaching to the base such that the telescopic elongated member is movable about the base with at least two rotational degrees of freedom. The stabilizing shooting rest further includes an arm rest at the distal end of the telescopic elongated member, the arm rest configured to stabilize a desired portion of a rear arm of the wearer while the wearer is shooting.

At least one fork extends radially from the collar. Wherein each fork includes a surface for retention of a cartridge magazine in position to be inserted into and removed from the magazine well without removing the magazine from the fork.

The difference is its ability to be released on one end and with the use of gas spring pop-up and double as a shooting rest. The actuator is operably connected to a locking mechanism to lock the upper elongated support and lower elongated support in a fixed relative position. Depression of the actuator may bias the tube engagement members against the lower elongated support and allows the locking of the gun rest in one of a plurality of lengths.

This multi-function apparatus includes a ground-engaging gun rest which independently supports a shot gun or rifle in a generally upright position. A duck hunter's stool including a cross-shaped base support with a ground-engaging member and a detachable seat member provide the hunter with a 360.degree. field of view from a seated position. The seat member is provided with suitable hardware to permit it to be stored on the tubular support member of the stool. The gun support is inserted within the tubular support member of the stool and locked in position such that the entire assembly functions as a wading stick to assist the hunter in maintaining balance when walking through a wetland or shallow water environment. The present device is lightweight and compact for convenient transport and storage.

A non-marring neoprene lining is affixed to the curved concave area. The enlarged butt section is pivotable about a longitudinal axis of the shooting rest by exerting a force that is adjustable. The pivotable butt section is secured, in one modification that is described, by a washer with protrusions that mesh with recesses. The butt section and the blade are held together in tension by a threaded member. The blade of the shooting rest has a curved concave area with a non-marring neoprene insert, also, so that the shooting rest can be used by affixing it to a vertical surface.

The bipod legs may telescope and are exchangeable with different types of legs; the monopod is extendable and may be stored in its extended position against the underside of the butt stock.
