1 Paintball loader US10386850 2003-03-11 US06860258B2 2005-03-01 Kenneth R. Farrell
A paintball gun loader. The loader is used in a closed-bolt paintball gun. The loader provides a paintball contact surface that moves in oscillating fashion in response to movement of the bolt to load individual paintballs into the gun while the gun loading port is open, which occurs as the gun cycles when fired. The loader includes a spring element that limits the force exerted on the paintball being loaded, even in case of a jam when the paintball contact surface is urged toward the paintball. In one embodiment, a pivotally mounted flexible lever arm having a paintball contact surface oscillates through an angular range of motion in response to a cam surface of the bolt engaging a cam follower on the the loader. In such embodiment, the cam follower is urged toward the cam surface of the bolt, which in turn biases the paintball contact surface toward an open, paintball receiving position.
2 Pneumatic gun US10206013 2002-07-26 US20030047175A1 2003-03-13 Kenneth Farrell
A pneumatic gun with separate hammer and recock piston function. Separate structures are provided for an impacter and for a recock piston. In one embodiment, the recock piston directly engages the impacter during recocking. The impacter is latched in a cocked position, while the recock piston and bolt are returned to a closed bolt position after recocking the impacter, in readiness for firing. The gun fires from a closed bolt. Upon release of the impacter sear, the impacter opens a normally closed valve, directly or indirectly, to discharge compressed gas for firing a projectile and for recocking the gun. Various impacter shapes, recock piston shapes, and valve structures and operation are feasible while achieving the advantages of firing from a closed bolt in a semi-automatic gun.
3 Tactical telescoping shotgun US13928917 2013-06-27 US08584391B1 2013-11-19 S. Mill Calvert
A shotgun has a telescoping barrel made of concentric barrel sections slidably engaged together. These include at least an inner barrel section and an outer barrel section. A grip on the outer barrel section aids telescopic movement. A locking pin secures or releases the barrel sections. The barrel sections have protrusions that interfere with further outward movement once fully telescoped out. The grip may have a channel to permit a pistol grip to slide onto the grip. A second pistol grip may be connected to the trigger. The butt of the gun may slide out to make a shoulder rest. A butt plate is connected to a rod that slides into and out of the shotgun. The rod has teeth that engage a spring-loaded arm to secure the rod in an extended position. A compression or tension spring may bias the concentric barrel sections in an extended or shortened configuration.
4 Pneumatic gun US10206013 2002-07-26 US06832605B2 2004-12-21 Kenneth Farrell
A pneumatic gun with separate hammer and recock piston function. Separate structures are provided for an impacter and for a recock piston. The recock piston engages the impacter during recocking. The impacter is latched in a cocked position, while the recock piston and bolt are returned to a closed bolt position after recocking the impacter, in readiness for firing. The gun fires from a closed bolt. Upon release by the impacter sear, the impacter moves to open a normally closed valve, directly or indirectly, to discharge compressed gas for firing a projectile and for recocking the gun. Various impacter shapes, recock piston shapes, and valve structures and operation are feasible while achieving the advantages of firing from a closed bolt in a semi-automatic gun.

6 MODULAR BARREL SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ITS MANUFACTURE US15868633 2018-01-11 US20180202736A1 2018-07-19 James W. Teetzel; Jared Majcher
A modular barrel system for firearm includes a first barrel segment and a second barrel segment. Each barrel segment comprises a tubular member having an axial bore, a proximal end, and a distal end. The proximal end of the first barrel segment has a first threaded element for removably attaching the first barrel segment to a firearm. The distal end of the first barrel segment has a second threaded element and the proximal end of the second barrel segment has a third threaded element which is complementary with the second threaded element, the third threaded element for removably attaching the second barrel segment to the first barrel segment. In a further aspect, method for the manufacture of a modular barrel system are provided.
7 Portable firearm with a retractable barrel US528392 1974-11-29 US4016800A 1977-04-12 Maurice Rusbach
A portable fire-arm having a recoil brake braking the recoil stroke of the barrel relative to the breech-carrier when a shot is fired, which includes a manually operated mechanical connection device between the barrel and the recoil brake the whole being so arranged that the barrel can be manually retracted into the breech-carrier in the retracted carrying position, the brake being rendered inoperative. A device is provided for locking the barrel relative to the breech-carrier in that retracted position.
