A vaporizer bowl construction for use in combination with a vaporizer head including a cap having a heating chamber depending therefrom and having a steam outlet in communication with the heating chamber. The heating chamber has an opening therein for receiving liquid from the vaporizer bowl. The vaporizer bowl comprises a container having an opening for receiving in suspended relation within the bowl a separable double walled insulating chamber assembly. The heating chamber is removably suspended within the insulating chamber assembly in spaced relation to the inner wall thereof. In one embodiment an upwardly extending rib on the bowl bottom extends between the walls of the insulating chamber to form a bottom closure therefor. In a further embodiment the rib engages the inner wall of the insulating chamber.

An electrode air humidifier is provided. The electrodes are suspended in an inner container with water flow contact with the outer container through a pocket chamber, whereby pulsation is greatly reduced or prevented. It is further provided for separation of water drops in the steam and means are provided to reduce the wear of the electrodes by bringing the apparatus to a rapid stop when relatively little water is left in the apparatus.

An attachment for heating shaving cream or the like material being dispensed from an aerosol-type container having a depressible hollow valve stem through which the material is discharged includes a casing of heat and electrical insulation material having a base at its lower end provided with a downwardly open bore adapted to fit upon the valve stem. A flow passage having highly heat conductive walls extends from the bore to a lateral opening in the casing. A confined body of heat storage material, such as water, alcohol, powdered metal or the like, is sealed within the casing in surrounding relation to the flow passage. The body of heat storage material is heated by an electrical resistance heating element arranged within the casing in surrounding relation thereto. The heating element has such a short connection to the usual electrical wall outlet that normally the connection must be broken to enable the user to conveniently dispense heated material.

CARLSSON BENGT HENRY |
An apparatus for the production of steam for air humidifying purposes, in which water is vaporized in an electrode container by passing current through the water between electrodes. For water level control a further container is provided communicating with the electrode container, and to which a water refill conduit is connected provided with an electrically operated valve. An energy regulator is electrically connected to the valve and is adjustable in such a manner that the current supply to the valve and thus also the water level in the electrode container can be determined.

In an immersion-type water-vaporizer unit from which the vapor is ejected in a well-defined jet, a high efficiency is obtained by using a long narrow connection tube between the water reservoir in which the unit is immersed and the vaporizing space in the unit. The latter is surrounded by a double-walled vessel, the cavity of which is hermetically sealed. A partial vacuum may be provided in the cavity and the remaining gas may be inactive. The connection tube is positioned at an oblique angle with respect to the bottom portion of the vaporizing space and the greater part of the length of the tube is positioned inside of the vaporizing space. An electric heating element is provided within the vaporizing space to vaporize water therein. A thermostat located within the cavity in proximity to the heating element maintains the temperature of the heating element within a predetermined range.

An electric steam vaporizer having a liquid reservoir and a removable top. A post member is mounted on the upper part of the liquid reservoir. The top has an opening in one side which receives the post member when the top is placed on the reservoir. The post member actuates a switch which closes an electrical circuit to the vaporizer electrodes. The post also mechanically locks the top to the reservoir thus minimizing possible heated water injuries in the event of vaporizer overturning.
