5 Gas ignition device JP14582383 1983-08-10 JPS6036828A 1985-02-26 NISHIHATA MASAAKI
PURPOSE:To ensure ignition performance, by a method wherein the fixed point of an ignition plug is moved and regulated, and a discharge distance is set according to a kind of gas. CONSTITUTION:The igniting concentration range of branch gas for ignition differs according to a kind of gas. In order to ensure an optimum discharge distance 11 depending upon such difference, an ignition device is constituted as follows. A mounting plate 13, tightening a plug locking device 12 for securing an ignition plug 9, and a guide claw part 14 thereof are inserted into a guide hole 15 in the base of a pilot burner 4 to control a vertical clearance. A forward end 18 of a regulating screw 17 secured to a bent part 16 of a pilot burner 4 is mated with a hole in a bent part 19 to adjust the regulating screw 17 by means of a locking ring 20, and this moves the ignition plug 9 together with the mounting plate 13 in a horizontal direction, resulting in the possibility to freely set a discharge distance.
6 Gas igniting device JP5194983 1983-03-28 JPS59176518A 1984-10-05 KAWAHARA KAZUNARI; KUBO KOUSAKU
PURPOSE:To cause ignition and instantaneous absorption to be well timed and to improve ignition performance, by a method wherein ignition, cleaning of a pilot flame nozzle, and the ON and OFF operation of an instantaneous attracting circuit are performed through control of a single control shaft. CONSTITUTION:With an ignition knob shaft 1 turned conter-clockwise, gas flows from a cock to an auxiliary pilot 2, and spark is filed from a piezo-electric igniting device to an ignition plug 3 for ignition to form an auxiliary pilot flame. Gas flows to a passage 4a leading to a pilot flame burner 4, and ignition of the pilot flame burner 4 by means of the flame of the auxiliary pilot 2 causes ignition of pilot flame. During control of ignition, a cleaning needle 7, interposed in a pilot flame nozzle 6a, is moved out downward from a nozzle hole 6b along the curve of an inner cam 5a, being an inner groove in a cam body 5, as the cam body 5, joined integrally with the ignition knob shaft 1, is turned. Conversely, with the ignition knob shaft 1 turned clockwise, a cock, not shown, closes the gas passage 4a, and a pilot flame cleaning device 6, which removes dust, wherewith the nozzle hole 6b is choked, to the outside with the cleaning needle 7 interposed in the pilot flame nozzle 6a, is operated in linkage therewith.
