PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate orthodontic work such as mounting a lingual straight arch wire to a main slot by providing a bracket to fit to a surface on the side of a tongue of each tooth to fix to a wire.
SOLUTION: The bracket 28 forms a main slot 30 for receiving the lingual straight arch wire(LSW) 27 to a center 29 to ligature in a horizontal direction and is provided with a bracket main body 31 opening it toward the surface 12 on the tongue side of a tooth. In addition, the main body 31 is provided with a leg part 32 and a large space is formed between its tip and a pad 13. Thus, when the bracket 28 is fitted to a front tooth at an upper jaw, a byte plane(BP) opposed to a front tooth at a lower jaw is formed on the lower surface of the arm part 33 of the main body 31, the position of BP becomes deep and even at the time of starting orthodontics, the tip of the front tooth at the lower jaw does not comes into conflict with BP of the main body 31 fitted to the front tooth at the upper jaw.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly determine ideal tooth arrangement and to reduce manual adjustment to the utmost by constituting each base part so as to attach the same to a specific tooth of a person of a predetermined human race and providing an arch wire receiving groove to each arch wire support part and selecting the depth and direction of the groove for the person of the predetermind human race.
SOLUTION: Each base part is constituted so as to be attached to a specific tooth of a person of a predetermined human race and an arch wire receiving groovce 22 is provided to each arch wire support part, and the depth and direction of the groove 22 are selected for the person of the predetermined human race. Each base part 21 and the depth and direction of the groove 2 of each arch wire support part are obtained from a mathematical arch mode established for a specific human race. Further, each base part 21 and the depth and direction of the groove 22 of each arch wire support part are obtained from the measured values of the tooth shape of an indivisual of the same human race as a patient or based on the angle of inclination of the ideal tooth crown length axis of a person of a predetermined human race and the characteristics of the sape of the jaw thereof.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an orthodontic appliance having an optimum contour lowest with respect to an individual tooth of a patient by providing a step producing a bracket to the dogtooth inclined by an angle of rotation negative with respect to a bracket base or the tooth adjacent to the dogtooth.
SOLUTION: A mathematical equation determining the shape of an arch wire curve 28 for the arch wire of a constant contour device is formed and the optimum interval, that is, the interval of the arch wire curve 28 from the surface of a tooth to which a bracket 30 must be attached is determined and the distance from the tooth to the arch wire is calculated. Further, in order to make the arch wire curve 28 easy to approach a dental arch form curve 16 while the arch wire constituted smoothly so as to avoid that rotatory power undesired with respect to a tooth acts in the vicinity of a small tooth is held, the bottom part of the arch wire slot within the bracket 30 is formed so as to form an angle RA of rotation with respect to the base of the bracket 30.

PURPOSE: To provide a medical implantable segment which does not discharge any toxic ion or potential toxic ion caused by a corrosive action of body fluids, and which is excellent in biocompatibility after implanted into a living body by composing the segment of titanium, niofium and zirconium, and a composition having a specified flexible modulus. CONSTITUTION: This medical implantable segment is made of a highly intensified and lower modulus alloy consisting of titanium niobium and zirconium processed by a hot-working. The content of the niobium is approximately 10-20% wt. or 25-50% wt., and that of the zirconium to be approximately 0-20% wt. for minimizing the modulus smaller than approximately 90 Gpa. From this alloy, an implantable segment is obtained capable of transplanting into a blood vessel of the heart such as a heart value or artificial heart and the like is obtained. This alloy is substantially of β-phase, and has an intensity of more than 620 MPa, and the medical implantable segment has a part of outside surface protective coating selected from a group consisting of oxides, nitrides, carbides and carbon nitride. |
